Duel, a French quiz show, is coming to the United States. According to Variety, ABC has won the rights to air the BermanBraun program.

Ten episodes of the show have been ordered thus far. Duel has been described as a high-stakes game that combines the classic quiz formula with the psychology and bluffing elements of gambling. Players will compete head-to-head over multiple-choice questions, betting a certain number of chips on how confident they are that they know the answers. To win, the contestant must beat five other players.

Gail Berman stated, "What I love about it is that it's a very tension-filled game. You need to have the smarts to answer the questions and you need to have the smarts to know how to bet."

The show does not have a set air date at this time.
