Terminator Salvation DVD to Receive R-Rated Director's Cut

Source:  UGO
For fans who may have been disappointed in McG's take on a popular franchise, it seemes salvation may come in the form of DVD and Blu-ray. UGO is reporting that the MPAA's lastest ratings reveal that Terminator Salvation's DVD and Blu-ray Director's Cut will be R-rated.

Warner Home Video hasn't announced the title as of yet, so we're not quite sure when to expect this new release, but the ratings mention noted that this Director's Cut was rated R for "some violence and brief nudity."

We'll be sure to keep you updated on the upcoming Terminator Salvation DVD and Blu-ray as soon as we have more information.

Sorry WiseGay, Think again! That spot is occupied by Dragonball Z!

By the way, screw you for being anal retentive for saying that.

Go look in the mirror and squeeze your pimples.

I couldn't care less about this. It'll probably suck as much as Terminator Salvation did. It was terrible. And the biggest flop of the summer, and one of the worst of the year.

CB: "WE ARE ALLLL DEAD!" That part was a bit much. But I think he did good.

I still say all of that daytime crap really pissed me off!

Please Cameron, do part 5!!!! Terminator needs "salvation"!!

Well well well. Sweet. I was a 3.5 movie to me. McG did a good job, but Bale fucked it up. He made the rewrites, and sucked at Conner. Screaming did not help at all. And I LIKE the guy. anyways, this will be a good rent.

And who gets "fucked" out of curiosity.

gump, if you haven't seen it, your comment is really irrelevant isn't it? I mean you might like it, right? Just think of it like a box of chocolates.

Yes luca_frontino about 2029, and have it at night, so we can see the world that James Cmaeron created and the one we have only been teased with in the fututre scenes in T1, T2 and T3. McG really screwed up, making this in the daytime, like a road warrior movie.

There's only one scene of nudity (breasts) added in and one "fuck", that's it.

This movie was a bit of a disapointment, to be honest. I still liked it, but it could have been better. But if they think they can spice it up with some nudity, then I say they go for it, lol.

It wasn't that bad. It just didn't add anything concrete to the story.
And the Arnold T-800 at the end looked too much bidimensional than the one in the 1st movie. They should have used an animatronic that, with today technology, could have been fantastic.
I hope next time they just bring on the 2029 setting for real.

What a big disappointment this movie was. MCG, who ever that is, is a waste of space. I mean really what has he ever done. Why in the world would they allow an incompatent fuck like that direct a major film like this is just beyond me. If he directs another I will sit it out. FUCK YOU MCrap

"T4" is awesome and it got way better than the disappointment of "T3." I'd love to see the R-rated version of this movie...and the DVD cover!

Just think about how shitty the film would have turned out if Bale and Jonathon Nolan would not have rewrote what McG and those two rejects who wrote T3 had planned. This film wasnt too bad really. It was a good summer movie. People just wouldnt try to seperate this from T3 thats why there was so much complaining. Truly they should have just put the nude scene and Marcus beating the hell out of the gang member in the film. Its not like that type of scene isnt in PG-13 films all of the time.

It will probably have the rumored Moon Bloodgood sex scene, which will be awesome to see (she's hot). I sure hope the extra violence and R rating add to the story. Whatever the case, I still liked it, and so did the studios, cuz they are making T5. Now, when will we see the cover art?

Warner must be under the impression that his Director's Cut will prove that McG can in fact polish a turd.

Of course it'll still suck! I blame Christian Bale for his insistence on a rewrite, just to accommodate his ego, and McG for his lack of testicles to tell Bale to take the offer or leave it.

Second favorite film of the summer, behind D9. I'll have to get this.
