Rhys Meyers has just signed on to star in the supernatural horror thriller Shelter opposite Julianne Moore. According to Variety, the Swedish duo Bjorn Stein and Mans Marlind will direct the horror feature for Nala Films.

Michael Cooney wrote the script for Shelter, which is currently being kept under wraps. Darlene Caamano Loquet, of Nala Films, and Emilio Diez Barroso, of Nala Investments, will produce the film with Mike Macari and Neal Edelstein of Macari Edelstein Films.

Filming for Shelter is scheduled to start in late March on location in Pittsburgh.
