Maybe Eva mendez could have a go at one of the upcoming terminater movies. She's always looked gorgdeous with a weapon in her hand.

hey celluloid, i think it is too far gone to not be pg-13, but hey... look at it this way, we have dvd to look forward too, with the special edition, unrated, directors cut, with an additional 15 minutes added in... honestly i think pg-13 can do a film justice... example being live free or die hard, but for the majority R means it is for adults... not for pre teens. probably even the same direction they end up with another 80's sequel beverly hills cop 4.

but i agree, if a series has an initial R rating, then keep it going, but i am sure they are doing it to get more money from the pre teen category just as they did with the first AVP... gag

Gainsbourg bowed out to be in a French comedy over the new Terminator film? I think that says a lot. It's sad but probably a smartest move of her carear.

Well, I'm prepared to be swayed. But I'm not holding my breath. The rating may bring in a larger audience scope, but I think it can be a bit constrictive to how far a film can go. Would like to see the Terminator live up to it's name. My fear is seeing the Terminator's become cannon fodder, like the AVP series as done for the Alien.

But there are major differences between 1 and 2, 1 was dark and bloody, T2 really wasnt, besides the male nudity and cursing, it was a bloody film. It was dark but its was a blood bath of a film. I dont really mind the PG-13 rating, plenty of good action movies are PG-13. I think this film has some potential.

Not a chance in hell that Terminator would be a PG-13 if it was released now. If it was released with a similar rating then, most of what made it a classic would have been missing. The Terminator was genuinely menacing. Wouldn't have been anywhere near as badass for a family film, and would most likely wouldn't have been the icon the Terminator is today.

I am so tired of everyone bitching about the PG-13 rating. Back when the first & second Terminators were made, a short shot of Arnold's ass and a few dozen curse words is all it took to make a R rating. If you look at many rated R movies from the past, you would see that they equivilate to PG-13 movies now. The only reason a Terminator movie should get a R rating now is if the violence is gratuotous to the point of stupidity. Don't get me wrong I believe some movies are toned down for a broader audiance (the first AVP), but I don't see this affecting the entertainment of Terminator.

Good addition to the cast, wish they'd change to title though.

The rating's a bit of a slap in the face to fans of the original film. Shame really, was looking forward to the future war, but the terminators just aren't gonna be brutal enough with that rating.

while I don't doubt the skills of McG as far as movies are concerned,I am starting to feel realy uneasy as some decisions are quite worrying. This lady is not the right choice,i'm sure we have more than enough good ladies in hollywood.
Will i ever watch this shit?...Maybe

Bryce Dallas Howard in "T4"...hmmmmm she is not a bad actress...I did like her turn as the blind girl in "The Village"....but her role in "Siperman 3" was "NOT" her best choice!

"Scheduling conflicts" sounds like a euphemism/nepotism to me.

Uber director/"Opie"/Ron Howard's daughter should be alright...Think of all the promising young actresses cringing at this casting decision...extra shifts waitressing, extra depression for the Hollywood hopefuls questioning their fortitude. Just another month for them...C'est La Vie.

McG better not mess this up like he did Full Throttle. Also this chick from spider-man may not be the best choice. She looks to rich. Idk.
