Director Michael Bay's
official website received a little update from a guy named Nelson who spoke with Bay about his upcoming projects. Here are the updates.
- He will be meeting later this week with Steven Spielberg, and Ehren Kruger to discuss ideas for Transformers 3. By the end of the week he should have an idea if Transformers 3 will hit your local cineplex in the summer of 2011 or 2012.
- In the meantime "Pain & Gain" is looking very possible as is...
- ...Bad Boys 3. Either film coming to a theater near you before or after Transformers 3.
We'll certainly keep you posted if any story details on
Transformers 3 or any of Bay's other projects come to light.

He also stated on the production cost on how difficult and time-consuming it would also be to make Transformers 3D, which is something he doesn't believe worth in doing, because Transformers is as entertaining as it comes, there is no use for 3D.
the size of an aircraft carrier
deadlier than devastator
think about it
Anyway, as long as the film is good like the 1st one, I'm content. Get rid of all the bullshit that wasn't needed in the 2nd film. Keep the awesome action scenes since Bay does those best. We need more Transformers and less "real life" bullshit. Have an actual war this time, between a shit load of transformers. Not just 5 or 6 on each side. That would top any scene in either film. One huge fight. It would be epic. You know it, I know it, Bay should know it lol. Have a somewhat understandable and not over the top silly plot this time around. It could be simple and still make sense, not some random pyramid with ultimate destruction power in Egypt lol. Makes no sense. That's like them having the ultimate weapon be inside the statue of liberty or something. So corny.
but still this is good news. i like these movies and bay is still the best action guy out there. looking forward to BB3 also.
I'll stick with the regular animated Generations 1 and 2.
I'm sorry he needs to turn into a bad motherfucker now, and Unicron and Galvatron need to enter.
But before i head on to the 2nd redrafted treatment to complete it i'm watching the show 'cybertron' 'energon' and 'armada.'
LOL what can i say Fallen i'm a workaholic.
I'll only continue with a project if i know the studio i'm writing it for are interested in it, in which i've received feedback from Platinum Dunes that they are interested, but who knows i guess only time will tell.
And like Junior says, no more humor.
One of the things on my list was about a showdown on another planet.
And yes, I DO think that Bay can redeem himself after Revenge of the Fallen. He just needs to keep the bullshit humor OUT, bring in dark and complex story elements that make you care about what happens to the characters and how the plot progresses , kill off some unneccesary characters(but if they are going to bring in more unneccesary characters, at least bring Jon Voight back), and give us an intrigueing villain.
I'm serious about this , too, because I NEVER curse in my comments!
Transformers: War Of Cybertron
