Steven Weber and Ben Schnetzer Move to Happy Town

Source:  The Hollywood Reporter
Steven Weber is in talks to star and Ben Schnetzer has landed a lead role on ABC's midseason drama series Happy Town.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Happy Town is a mystery set in a small town rattled by the return of a serial kidnapper, known as the Magic Man.

Weber would play John Haplin, whose family practically runs the city. He is obsessive and filled with agony over the disappearance of his daughter, kidnapped years ago by the Magic Man.

Schnetzer will play Haplin's son, a wealthy teenager entangled in a Romeo & Juliet-style romance.

Both roles were recast after being played by Dean Winters (Haplin) and John Patrick Amedori in the pilot.
