CW Network Picks Up Medical School Series

Source:  The Hollywood Reporter
One of our favorite Heroes will try her hand at producing for a new CW series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the CW Network has picked up HMS from Mystic Pizza writer Amy Holden Jones.

The series will revolve around a group of young students at the elite Harvard Medical School and Hayden Panetierre will make her producing debut as co-executive producer.

Holden Jones first developed the series at WB Network during the 2004-2005 development season and the script was brought to the attention of CW, which was seeking a medical series for its lineup.

By the way, I see that you say you like SVU. I hope Jay Leno doesn't fuck up that show like he did with Southland. It seems like everyone from NBC is pissed at this guy.

Lol, my main reason for watching the series premiere of 24 was because Keifer Sutherland was on and I love The Lost Boys. Also, that year the chick who played Nina Myers became my dream girl. I never thought I would love 24 as much as I do now. So, sometime watching a show just for the cast can be good.

lol.House is pretty good.

As for the reason why I like CSI:NY..well I think it's got a good cast,I know going by the cast is not what most people do,but if I went by the story line I'd watch all of them lol.Ever since I watched Forrest Gump on the big screen when I was twelve I have been a fan of Gary Sinese.Dont know why I just think He's a good actor.

Wow, your like the first person I've met that said he likes CSI NY out of the rest of CSI. Most people I meet usually express their love for CSI Navy.
Lol, The only medical drama show i've watched is House and that was only because it took over Prison Break's slot on mondays at 8, an hour before 24.

Well, the only Law and Order I like is Special Victims Unit.Dont ask me why I have no clue.I've tried watching the others but did not appeal to me.Its the same with CSI.The only one I like is CSI:NY.I guess it's all in the casting.

As for ER,I watched one episode and never watched it again.

And as for 24 ending.Yes,that's really depressing. But then again.Too much of a good thing and it can ruin.

Yes. 24 rules, lol. I watched 24 when it first came on, and back then i would have never known it would be going on for seven years. I can't believe it. I hear that this eighth season will be it's final year. It's sad because I'll miss it, but I can understand, because you don't want to drown it out. Lol, i don't want it to be like ER and have like 15 seasons. I think ever tv show should have a max of like 9 or 8 seasons. Some are exceptions like the Law and Order series and America's Most Wanted.

Well,I tried to look past that, but again we agree,it did fail to keep my attention. This coming from a person who is a big fan of the Terminator franchise. And yes the finale was pretty awesome.

By the way.Thats another show they better not cancel is 24.I'd be pissed.

You know when TSCC first came on, I fucking loved it. And I thought the series finale was the best finale I've ever seen. EVEr. But lol, I can see why it was canceled. And I can see why people lost interest with it. Now, like the first half of the first season was great, but it seemed like anytime they would get away from the main story and do like one shots, they would be absolutely dull and boring fillers. I was surprised it even got a second season. Because kind of cut myself off when the second season came on. It just got worse and worse.

lol.I have to agree with you there. But one of the shows that really irked my nerves that was canceled was Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles.I honestly that it was fairly decent show. But thats just me.

Okay, but tell me shows that your pissed off about that were canceled.
Anyway, for me, I can never watch anything on CBS, because it feels like every sitcom is the same and every drama is the same. You can basically take every show on CBS and easily find a way to combine them all in a 2 to 3 hour movie. Lol, just look at what there doing now with this CSI trilogy. Easy combo because there so much alike.

And sorry for making this a two parter.

I should have been a little bit more clear on what I was talking about.I am rather limited on what I watch on T.V. mostly its NCIS,Law and Order SVU,The Mentalist,Family Guy and The Simpsons.Every once in a while I turn it to T.V land.

Newkill.I was not just speaking about the CW,for all I care that station can kiss my ass,I'd just as soon scoop out my eyes with a rusty spoon which has salt on it than watch this station.

I was speaking of how they seem to be canceling good shows on any station and bringing in crap. It's not just the CW....and what the is a beautiful a life anyway.I've never heard of it.

Geek, are you serious. You do realize that this is the CW. They canceled It's a beautiful Life. You call that a good show. Man, stay away from this industry.

Hm...allow me to get this straight. They cancel what good shows are on T.V to bring in this....I have officialy lost faith in the industry.
