Thor to Be an Animated Series

Source:  The Hollywood Reporter
In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, it looks like Marvel Comics' Thor will be coming to the small screen as an animated series.

The plot of the series will find Thor defending his home of Asgard "against fantastical villains, fiendish hordes, winged creatures and angry giants." Moving through multiple worlds the show will feature such characters as Balder the Brave, the Warriors Three and Thor's evil adopted brother, Loki.

Apparently, Marvel Animation is putting together "a 26 half-hour episode series based on its long-running comic book." The idea is for the series to bow in the fall of 2010.

Marvel's big screen version of Thor will hit theaters in 2010.

THis is fine with me. I don't know a lot about Thor and I hope it does fine. Most catroons that try to feature a character that hasn't had a lot of tv appearances. Like batman and spiderman have been in new series several times. I hope this one stands a chance.
