Transformers 2 to Feature Up to 20 Robots?

Michael Bay and company are still waging a war of disinformation against the fans when it comes to leaking any details about Transformers 2, so take this latest tidbit with a grain of salt. In a message he posted to the forum at Don Murphy.net, Transformers 2-screenwriter Roberto Orci suggested we could see as many as twenty different Transformers in the film.

"I'd love and think we could almost barely manage ten on each side, with some front and center and others as more supporting," Orci wrote.

Now, this certainly isn't promising anything, but that sure seems to suggest a much larger robot population for the sequel film.

Directed by Michael Bay and starring Shia LaBeouf, Transformers 2 is scheduled for a June 26, 2009 release date.
