Carly Pope has just joined the cast of the popular Fox series 24. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will play a recurring character throughout the series' seventh season.

Pope is set to play Samantha Roth, the girlfriend of the president's son. She is suspect of being tied into his disappearance.

The series is scheduled to return this coming January.
