Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Takes in Another $27 Million

I have a *real idea for the title of the third film- "Transformers: The tomb of refuge"- tell me what you think?!?

well it made 125 for the 3 day lets see how much it makes for the 5 day

Action & SFX wise and eye candy wise, Transformers 2 was amazing.
A great film but definately not a blockbuster

Watchmen was good, very complexed and i have to give the writer of the and yes Zack Synder major kudos, for bringing that film to life, considering the struggle they went through and of course how long it suffered in production hell.
But man, they could have at least gave Dr Manhattan some boxers, i mean what did they do run out of production money?

But still my own individualised opinion stands.
Star Trek (is best movie of the year so far)

Drag Me To Hell (Is second but its the most original film we have seen in a long time, and Raimi redeemed himself)

Saw it last night, and I didnt really like it.
The first one was better.

Drag me to hell???? not going to even comment on that....Transformers as in regards to a blockbuster and action...was better than any other movie, except maybe Star trek, the story carried the movie along ways....you went to see transformers based on its oscar worthyness??? or special effects

watchmen had nothing exciting about it at all, Transformers obviously wasnt great, but it delivered its SFX, more than most movies usually do.........its like u guys sit here with your note pads and critique a michael bay film to get an oscar, are you really serious? the movie did it we all know it was gonna do, draw huge crowds and bring generations of Transformers fans together, it doesnt have to be well written for people to enjoy the action in it

star trek at least had teh story to intrigue you, though the acting was thin...that was a fun movie..

i think watchmen tops this crap as far as movies of the year...

movie was lame, even the people who like have to admit it sucked...they were just wowed by the big booms and what not....

and as far as drag me to hell?
that movie was nothing but buch a bunch of random images at the worst times...

by far 2 of the worst movies this year....

I thought it was a cool movie. I've seen it twice so far.

I kinda felt sorry that i hadn't seen any reviews more than 2 stars in the UK...
The acting was good, the story sucked, the visuals were amazing and the directing was good in the terms of camera work.

I guess when you see the first time you too amazed at the production, but when you look at it from a film or a director/writer perspective, the film is a barrage of explosions and metal smashing together, which is a waste of great production money.

Actually rephrase that apparently PUBLIC ENEMIES is the best action film of the year.

mate, this one sucked. sorry to say, the only thing interesting is Megan Fox and robots knocking ten ton of shit out of each.
Its like a live-action megazords without no power rangers, mindless plot development, mindless character development, way tooooooo long.
Also this one just seemed like a rehash of the first installment, except lets pretend to kill of Optimus, add in more transformers, which aren't worth bringing in to the story and introduce a crummy villain, known as the fallen. OOOOO and lets not forget the annoying room mate, you wanted to die but never did

One was a very faithful spectacular reboot, while the other was brilliant in portraying what Hollywood is lacking, originality, plus Sam went back to his roots.

Stop smoking crack please. This one was much better in all categories than the first one. Star Trek was good, and so Drag me to Hell, but def not movies of the year.

Plus the news currently will shatter this films box office, the news of course being that of MJ, everyone is paying respects and mourning the loss of a legend, not excited about Transformers 2 no more.

I've seen this movie twice and I was pleased both times. I don't understand why anyone would expect anything other than action from a film like this. It's the summer, people just want to be entertained. If you want an indepth plot and oscar worthy acting, wait til September when all that serious stuff comes out.

And if another person compares this to The Dark Knight somebody ought to slap them. Dark Knight is a rare breed of summer movies.

i agree, the AMC i went to today to see it for the 2nd time has it on 5 screens lol, to avoid any sold out disappointments, the action was throughout the entire movie, it went from action to sam at school to action lol

two and a half hours. Who could possibly have thought this movie would be entertaining at that length. At around 100 minutes, I semi-seriously considered the possibility that the movie would never end, and I would never be permitted to leave

ya in Toronto the AMC is $6 before noon lol, i saw it on IMAX $16.95 for a free voucher b/c the fight in the desert we didnt see, it went black.....

there is always way too much hype on any summer blockbuster or even the one in March (cough) Watchmen (cough)...look how shitty terminator did in the US

I paid $9.75 & well "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" was "NOT" worth it!!

Thank God I only paid $5.00 for the "Remake" of "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" which was a dud ..and Oh Um! ...not worth $9.75...I'm kicking myself I didn't wait till the weekend to see ..."Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"....too much hype on this Summer film!...!!!

The reason the film took in an estimated $27 million on Thursday ..Is so many people couldn't get into other showings Opening day; & Unlike me and my friends who had to go to to at least 3 theaters (Opening Day!) before we found 1 theater that wasn't ALL SOLD OUT" ...Most of those people that went to showings on Wed (06/24/2009) & were told they were sold out were smart... They just went home and waited a day to see it!!!!

It looks like there are lots of brainless people with tons of money.

Well, I saw this shit coming from the very first preview! This film is Krazy with a capital "K" and I'll probably end up seeing this 3-5 times b4 it leaves theaters!!!
