Benderspink has picked up film rights to horror comicbook
ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction by Kevin Grevioux, creator of the
Underworld franchise.
According to
Variety, the project revolves around a government weapons program that drops photosensitive zombies into war zones at night to destroy the enemy population. When one of these zombies somehow escapes in the Middle East, a team of elite soldiers must enter hostile territory to stop a growing zombie army.
Benderspink, which will have a booth at Comic-Con in San Diego later this week, will produce the project.
No production date has been set.

the original is my favorite zombie movie of all time, so given that the new one was supposed to be a remake i was more than a little offended by what a huge insult it was, to the orginal.

hey xjws79, ever seen 'rave to the grave'?
i havent seen it yet but i only hear bad things about it, so its definitely on my to-do list.
