Brea Grant Speeding Her Way to Heroes

Brea Grant, who recently appeared on NBC's Friday Night Lights, is one of the first confirmed new cast members for Season Three of Heroes. TV Guide's Mike Ausiello reports the news about the character she'll be playing.

Grant will be cast in the role of Joy, a character who is "quick on her feet - and adept at getting herself into and out of trouble." Joy's superpower will be that of super-speed, similar to that displayed by Clark Kent or Bart Allen on Smallville.

Heroes is an epic drama that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. The show airs Monday nights on NBC.
