Columbia Pictures has set
Tropic Thunder scribe Etan Cohen to write a third installment in the
Men In Black franchise.
According to
Variety, there are no deals in place for the franchise's stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, however it is unlikely the project would go into motion without the duo's involvement.
No production date has been announced.

The 1st "Men in Black" was "THE" best!
otherwise its a straight-to-DVD release
Bay is cool for action but not for character strength, instead of directing it he needs to just keep his name in it and do very little work on it. Just get another director attached for BB3.
According to the variety article this film all depends on weather Will Smith get on board to return to the role, its noted that if he doesn't the studio will most likely drop it.
Jones has already stated he is eager to return as well.
And the screenwriter is Etan Cohen not Ethan, his the same screenwriter that wrote Tropic Thunder.
I'd like to see this franchise take a serious dark tone, for this installment, and no not because of TDK, i'd just like to see it end on a dark film, maybe a proper serious alien invasion.
I had an idea once for this but meh
I disliked the second MIB.
