Check Out a New Trailer from Wolverine and the X-Men!

Source:  Marvel.com
If you're one of those folks who can't get enough of Marvel's X-Men, then you're probably chomping at the bit for the premiere of the new animated series, Wolverine and the X-Men. Well, the fine folks at Marvel have had mercy on you, and have released a new trailer to tease you until the show premieres on Nickelodeon.

The trailer shows the X-Men in battle against both the Sentinels and a batch of evil mutants.

When an explosive event shatters the lives of the X-Men and takes away their mentor, the beaten heroes walk away from it all. But then they're given a rare glimpse into the future, and see a world in utter ruin, ruled by mutant hunting Sentinels. A world that spiraled out of control because the X-Men had given up. So now the most legendary of all X-Men takes the lead - Wolverine! Reuniting these broken heroes, Wolverine embarks on the ultimate mission - to prevent the world's destruction. To rescue us from ourselves. To save the future.

Wolverine and the X-Men will be airing on Nickelodeon beginning in January of 2009.

I think it has potential

It still seems too child friendly for my taste. But it also looks like the producers/writers are trying to switch it up some and separate it from what were use to. This just may be worth my time after all, I hope. Please don't suck....
