iTunes to Offer Indy Film Rune As a Free Download

September 26th, 2006
In an effort to bulk up your iTunes movie collection, the ubiquitous web portal is giving away the indie film Rune.

According to Home Media Retailing, the movie is going to be exclusively offered as a download through iTunes.

It is being described as a "film noir adventure about a linguist out to save the world and features newcomers Anna Baumer and Robert Anthony Rio."

Consumers without iPods can also preorder the movie from www.runethemovie.com for the price of $10.

"We felt Rune's distribution method should be as timely and as comprehensive as possible, and the burgeoning popularity of video iPod and digital downloads gives any filmmaker unprecedented access to a wide audience," states writer/director Arayana Thomas.
