Emmerich is the most pessimistic director in hollywood, first he tried to kill us with aliens in ID4, then he tried to freeze us to dead in The Day After Tomorrow and now trying to kill us with ancient prophecy in 2012...there is something wrong with this guy..haha..

Movie still looks cool, even if it is over-the-top-eye-candy (nothing wrong with that, though)!

With the name Roland Emmerich ona "disaster" film ...you know it's going to be loud..over-the-top and have lots of plot holes which are covered up by S/E we have seen 100xs before!

God this movie is going to rock. I mean maybe the story and stuff will be a little lacking, and sure 10,000 BC sucked, but the effects and destruction (eye candy) are what you are paying to see. Hopefully there is more to it than that but either way I will be there opening night.

Looks like your typical disaster film. No real plot and all the focus goes on the effects. Miracle Mile thee best disaster film ever made. Some CGI in this looked great but some did look terrible, like the clip from when the Vatican is crumbling.
