Timothy Olyphant and Joe Anderson will star in
High Life, a Gary Yates-directed adaptation of the Lee MacDougall play, according to
Variety. MacDougall wrote the script with Yates (
Seven Times Lucky).
The film is a comic caper that follows four hapless bank robbers.
Olyphant, the
Deadwood star who is headlining
Hitman, plays the leader of the group whose scheme is done in by the incompetence of his cohorts. Anderson (
Across the Universe), Stephen Eric McIntyre (
The Lookout) and Rossif Sutherland (
Poor Boy's Game) round out the gang.
The film has just begun production.
