Mykelti Williamson Joins the 24 Cast

They say they're going forward with the 24 movie after Season 8, and that it'll probably film in London. Hopefully season 8 has a more satisfying ending for Jack than season 7, since if they're breaking for a movie, then there most likely won't be a season 9.

I would like for them to end it this year and stick with movies.

I doubt they'll go for season 9. 2yrs ago they could only get the primary cast to return for 2 more seasons being 7&8.

I liked the way that they did season 7, I'm just glad that season 8 is being developed. I'm hyped to see the new season.

i've been there multiple times newkill. family out there. plus i've done enough informative research into it. people who take everything from tv as real are dumbassed i agree, but that aint me, it's just that the content was congruent with a reality at one or more times in the city's history. i never said it was true for the whole place 100% of the timee. better yet, if you wont go lookin yourself, then google earth the zones to see it for real.

plus i aint tryin to blast you, it just started with me stating a fiscal fact for FOX and shows everywhere: full seasons of shows are never released the day after their season finales and for 25% less than their predecessor seasons unless it dwindled in ratings/reviews. it's an attempt to get fans to buy it before they forget too much about it to the point where they lose interest. why you think i absolutely hate it is beyond me. i liked the first four seasons alot. it's just a show, and this is an opinionated site, so if you haven't yet figured that out, then perhaps you should find another place to bitch about other's opinions. actually newkill, where in Bmore did you live? lower west side? upper? and obviously it didn't get commericial success, it can't come to cable TV given the language, drug content, sexuality, nudity, etc etc. the amount of edits would kill the show. and the higher up the chain you go in law enforcement, the more they don't like it as it exposes their crappy system for what it is. the STATS game. and the no child left behind bs, its a joke, and the most hick thing bush ever did. look at what it did to the school systems in the real world? and how it would naturally have a worse effect in the projects and lower class neighborhoods which you probly dont live in given the amount of time you have to devote to this site. and it all makes sense, thousands of reviews by major critics later, it stil accurately captures that lifestyle, and since it doesn't focus on the nice areas of balitmore, then it would obviously seem to those who live there that it doesn't accurately represent the city as a whole. PLUS, if you knew shit about the wire, then you'd be able to name the 5 themes that match the 5 seasons, and the obvious reason the show cant go on forever, having clocked in at 58hrs 51mins NO commercials.

And why the Fuck would i care how many seasons it'd go for vs. 24??? What damn logical reason can you think of??? NOTHING??? and you wanna know why most people dont like the show? its cuz all the cowardly fucks out there dont wanna idolize the harsh reality of it since it'd call for action to resolve said issues. we've seen it hundreds of times before.

and look into Timoor Stanfield, the real Marlo Stanfield to see how wrong you are. And how the fuck would you know how bad the show was if you hated it enough to not watch it?? if you kept watching it while hating it, then that's moronic, given how slow moving most of the episodes are, and given how real it is, then it would be less exciting as 24 which would therefore be prone to nab more mindless viewers who careless about plots than the better viewers of the country like say you and me.

AND better than all those arguments, you said it yourself, COPS and AMW is more entertaining. and that's the sad point, people watch tv for sheer entertainment and dont intend to take anything from it anymore, and i guess you wouldn't like bmore's representation since it would make the city look bad, which it is for the most part. So as i said, and as any logical person WOULD know, the wire aint for entertainment, it's reality in its harshest forms on tv that nobody, INCLUDING you wants to see cuz you cant stand it for the reality, not for the enjoyment or lack thereof.
