Edward Norton doesn't know whether or not he'll be donning the ripped purple pants of
The Incredible Hulk again anytime soon. The actor (who co-wrote the script for the film) recently told
MTV that he has no idea what Marvel's current plans are for the character.
"The minds of Marvel are sometimes opaque," Norton said. "I won't say [they're] obtuse, but I don't have any idea what they want to do."
Norton reiterated that in addition to being kept in the dark about a sequel to
The Incredible Hulk, he remains equally uncertain about appearing in
The Avengers. That film, which is expected to star the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, all of whom should be drawn from their own solo films, is scheduled for a 2011 release. "They've got this notion of collecting the Marvel characters," said Norton. "Who knows where they'll go?"
