Richard Dreyfus Is Dick Cheney in W

Source:  The Hollywood Reporter
Movie PictureJosh Brolin, meet your new Vice-President. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Richard Dreyfus has signed on for the role of Vice-President Dick Cheney in Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic, W.

This is the last major role to be cast, with Dreyfus joining an administration that includes Josh Brolin as current President George W. Bush, Thandie Newton as Condoleeza Rice and Elizabeth Banks as the First Lady Laura Bush.

Filming will begin this month in Shreveport, Louisiana. The production has received a waiver from SAG, due to the possibility of an actors strike. The film is tenatively set for an October release, just before the November elections and a DVD will be released in January, just before Bush leaves the Oval Office.

i do not really like the fact that Obama is a "fresh new start". i prefer more of " finish what we started and move on". i do not trust obama at all, from what he has said and from what his "friends" has said, im not 100% sure he is honest. but yeah, i have to admit that i prefer McCain and want him to win. I think he can help America from its present situation and improve it.
nice punisher pic by the way.

the prob with america getting a bad rap is cause it is one of the leading countries. when it comes to money world wide, what ever problems america are having affects everybody across the globe. with a bit of luck it will get orted in the near future, cause at thios moment (ireland/britain anyway) the price of living is through the roof and alot of it has come from certain things going wrong in america.

as for your next president, 2 years ago it looked a cert that Clinton was gonna be the next president. but Obama from what i've seen and read might be what the U.S.A needs, a fresh approach to a more updated world. but i don't really care, so long as they can sort their economy out.

yeah sorry about that, i meant to say 300 million, but by accident i moved a decimal to the left. i found out that there is a total of 304 million people in america. "the United States maintains the highest labor productivity in the world." There are two lower classes (under the rich and the medium): the working poor (13%) and a largely unemployed underclass (12%). In total, out of all the people in our country, there is a 25% of poor people, only 12% unemployed. Out of all three million citizens in the United States, you are going to tell me that we are doing bad? about 36 million people are unemployed, but most of them either dropped out of school, never finished university or probably cant get a job because of certain reasons like pregnancy or taking care of a offspring and other reasons. When you compare our statistics with other ones, we are not the poorest country in the world, we are one of the couple that are succeeding technologically and yes our economy is not 100% stable, but it will be soon. People and the media tend to blow things over proportion. In any matter, i do not want Obama to win at all. If by any chance at all clinton wins, it will not be the worst thing in the world.

lmao, you reckon there is only 3 million poor people in america? haha, look it up and you'll see there is close to 40 million homless and poor! and i can tell you there about 300 million people in america, NOT 3 billion! so you average 1 in 7 americans are poor!

oh and i heard that most of NC is pro-Obama. americans these days are ignorant!

You know, there are such thing as poor people in this country, in fact most people in this country are poor, not everyone can up and leave..where is someone who works a minimum wage job with a family going to get the money to stay in a hotel room for an indefinite amount of time, in fact, where is any normal person going to get that much money. There was a discussion on CNN 3 days ago where this Republican guy was trying to tie Obama to Weather Underground and the host was quick to point out that Republicans have accepted money from the group too, he did not deny it. And your confusing me and radimus, I'm from North Carolina NOT Ireland.
  (Delete)
May 30th, 2008 2:53pm
ohh and you said "our own soil"! do not give me that bullshit about you being IRELAND. frankly, any other person that doesnt live in this country wouldnt have cared to discuss this topic any longer. say what you will, but im not buying into your whole propaganda.

May 30th, 2008 2:49pm
I dont see your point in the hurricane topic. People have money, yes? Then, dont be a cheapass and go save yourself, go to a hotel in a northern, safer area than New Orleans. And dont give me that bullshit about people not knowing it was going to be that bad. It was a powerful category 5, the highest it can go, getting more powerful in the gulf of mexico, and the whole city is BELOW SEA LEVEL. i dont hangout with people that say stupid shit or do not think the same way i do (except for the whole spider-man thing). And you say that who dont abandon people because of what they say, then what was the whole deal with Obama not speaking to his reverend anymore. plus, obama has a bitch for a wife who also is un-patriotic whore and all the people around him do is talk shit about america. yeah, where did you here about the republican thing and accepting that asshole's money when people like John McCain is atleast a true patriot and stands up for his country and tries to protect it instead of hurting it like Barrack Obama.
  (Delete)
May 30th, 2008 10:39am
And in November it's going to be Obama (or Clinton, please God no) not Obama's Reverend. Everyone has friends who have bullshit opinions, but even if you don't agree with them you aren't going to abandon the person who married you and your wife and christened your children.

May 30th, 2008 10:35am
i don't understand your argument about New Orleans, just because it's a natural disaster we shouldn't have rushed to help? When there are Americans dying? It's pretty understandable that everyone did not evacuate, no one thought the storm would be that bad, and even if they did..where would they go? I don't know where you live but if a hurricane was coming and I knew it was going to tear my shit up I would have to stay there because I would have nowhere to go, it's not like the government set up any camps beforehand. Where are you going to put an entire city of people? The government's reaction time was absolutely ridiculous, We can put troops on the ground anywhere in the world in less than 48 hours but it takes us a week to get somewhere on our own soil?

And correct me if I'm wrong but I assume with your whole Obama's friend trying to bomb the Pentagon thing you are referring to the Weather Underground. Yes it's true that they have tried to bomb buildings before and that they have donated money to Obama in the past, but guess what, they have donated money to plenty of Republican campaigns and the candidates have gladly accepted the money.

how the fuck am i thinking green. new orleans whether people like it or not is a lost cause. the whole city is BELOW water and is right new to the gulf of mexico were hurricanes get strength, by warm water. they should try to relocate the people that live there into a more safer, securer zone. and why the fuck are you even talking about my president dumbshit, when supposedly you live in Irelnad, you dont know shit. If any thing you read or hear stories in the news so shut the fuck up. im blaming Obama for lack of judge of character. Obama is a retarded candidate and an unexperienced one that is only going to create more disasters than help solve them. dont talk to me about America, cuz you dont live in it and your thick head doesnt know shit about it.

May 26th, 2008 2:37pm
so your blaming Obama for someone else talking shit? lol, hows that his fault? and reading your comments on New Orleans shows how pathetic you are. i always thought americans stood together in a time of need, but you just blame everybody else. and while your fellow americans were fighting to save lives, your president was thinking of money! don't try talking your way out of this, you have shown your true colours and they ain't red/white and blue, it's green! just like YOUR thick as fuck president!

Fuck you sirMetrosexual and Spacefag. You are retarded. i was referring to after 9/11 bitch. And also Katrina is a damn natural phenomenon, you cant prevent shit like that from happening.New Orleans is a lost cause, there is no point in trying to spent millions of dollars on and the next day get destroyed by another hurricane or other natural phenomenon. Everybody complains about people dying and what not, but they should have fucking evacuated, instead of staying there like a bunch of dumbasses. Oh and we are not the ones that set prices on gas retard, its the damn Arabs that set the prices of the gas and petroleum and other countries like Venezuela. America has a high salary while other poor countries in Central America pay $5 DOLLARS or more for a tank of gas. Oh and your precious Obama is friends with an asshole that tried to bomb the Pentagon. And the Rev. that said a whole of shit about America. Yeah real AMERICAN.

Flrep, you fuct up man. America has been safe all these years? Except for that attack on the Twin Towers huh? Oh ya and not helping those Katrina victims? That was a really smart move of him sending the US Army into Iraq instead of Afghan to look for Osama...the actual guy responsible for the attacks. And you think Obama is gonna do a worst job? From what I heard, atleas he wants to help America out with the Health Care system and try to eliminate homelessness...If there a WW3, then you can blame it on Bush for starting it all. Oh ya, thanks your hero Bush, your economy is fuct up! Think about it...

Flrep07, on what grounds can you say that we are going to have a 9/11 everyday and enter into a WWIII if Obama gets elected? Please tell me. You say that America has been safe all these years because of Bush, umm, wasn't he the guy in office when 9/11 happened, after he had been warned several times that a terrorist attack was possible? I agree that it's kinda trendy to hate Bush these days and that people will blindly blame him for every problem in this country and I also agree with you that Micheal Moore sucks, but Bush is not a good president at all and our democrat congress sucks too. Our economy is shit right now, we are on the verge of facing a major mortgage crisis, we are in a war that the majority of the country doesn't support, and to the best of my knowledge our president has not tried to pass one bill to try to fix anything. This isn't a liberal or conservative thing, there are plenty of conservatives that believe Bush is doing a bad job.

This movie, however, is a stupid idea. Last I checked Bush's approval rating was 28% and apparently this movie is going to be one big Bush-bash. Are people going to go to the movie to see something that is going to tell them exactly what they are thinking? It's going to be just like the Fahrenheit 9/11 sequel, a big waste of money and time.
