The Dark Knight Has Milk - Do You?

It only makes sense that superheroes would be used as icons for the 'Got Milk?' campaign from Body By Milk, and just in time for the release of The Dark Knight, Batman dons the milk mustache once again.

On the site for the campaign there is a new widget, wallpaper and icon, as well as an opportunity for one fan to win the chance to appear in a Batman comic book from DC Comics.

The Dark Knight opens on July 18, 2008, and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gylenhall.

Sirmetro it's the idea that kids like Batman, even if they don't get to go see the movie. I for one think they had the right idea, no matter how dumb it might seem to be.

This is fucked up,since the movie has a PG-13 rating,it means 'kids' will not watch the movie at all.Who the fuck can convince over 13's to drink milk.

and teester, it doesnt say the batmobile takes milk, it says the batmobile isnt the only thing that needs to refuel, implying our bodies need to refuel, with milk. ugh, i hate pointing out the obvious.

im just saying that its desrespectful to the bat to have him show off like, "o look at me i drink milk, you should too". its not maarketing for the dark knight. its marketing for milk. in other words sell out works and is understandable. it would be marketing for the dk if they designed a new carton of milk with the bats on it. but since that didnt happen, he is in fact, selling out.

OK, sure it's a little dumb, but most everyone here is blowing it way out of proportion. Besides, noone is taking into account that Christian was probably paid a million dollars to do a 6 hour photo shoot, and the studio was probably paid another 3 million just for the rights to use the Dark Knight logo & image. So, for that kind of money, can anyone in here honestly say they wouldn't have done the same thing?
