COMIC-CON 2008: 2 New Max Payne Posters!

Source:  20th Century Fox
20th Century Fox has given MovieWeb your first look at two new posters from the upcoming video game adaptation, Max Payne, starring Mark Wahlberg, Chris O'Donnell, Beau Bridges, Ludacris, Mila Kunis, Donal Logue and Amaury Nolasco.

Max Payne

Max Payne
Wahlberg will play the titular cop who is haunted by the tragic loss of his family and has little regard for rules as he investigates a series of mysterious murders. He finds himself up against an adversary bent on destroying Max and the streets he protects. Based on the popular video game from Rockstar Games.

Max Payne shoots into theaters October 17th.

in this day and age, in many cases, the deciding factor between whether a flick gets an 'R' or a 'PG-13' rating is simply how much cursing is present in the movie.

it seems like sex and dirty words are the only things the mpaa gives a shit about anymore.

FUCK! SHIT! CUNT!

I don't know JR. I mean, I've seen some pretty bad ass PG-13 movies lately and R rated isn't the ONLY way to go with this one. It would probably be better, no doubt, but again Hollywood is thinking GREEN. c'est la vie

Whoa!! I just checked the numbers and The Dark Knight has made 203 million in FIVE days... It has now reached 200 million faster than any other movie in history breaking the record of eight days by Spiderman 2, Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith, and Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest.

NEXT UP... The record to 300 million. Which is 16 days by Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest. GO DARK KNIGHT!

I posted this in the Freddy Krueger and Hairspray sequel threads and realized this is a more appropriate thread to post on. haha And I agree... Mark and Donnie in the same movie... Could be a good one.

nice.
i just watched the trailer, and it looks interesting enough.

ive been fooled by trailers before, but as long as the credibility of the entire movie isnt riding solely on the action sequences then it should be good.

that tim olyphant just didnt work for me.
i like the wahlberg's though, so with marky mark in it i should be able to get through the movie without vomitting disappointment and hatred all over the poor bastard sitting in front of me.

you know what id like to see?
mark and donnie in the same movie.
regardless of genre, it would probably be worth watching.

Hitman was actually good, if you understand the games. It was decent compared to other film adaptions of games. Ex-Mortal Kombat
