It seems that Grandfather Focker might not be appearing in the third installment of a popular comedy franchise. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Dustin Hoffman is unlikely to return in Little Fockers.

The site is reporting that Hoffman was said to have a brief cameo as Bernie Focker, the father of Ben Stiller's Greg Focker, but there have been many difficulties in securing his appearance. It was reported that Hoffman wasn't happy with the size of his role in the film and scheduling difficulties have arisen as well.

The site is reporting that Barbara Streisand will return as the Focker matriarch, Roz, with a more prominent role in the film.
