Is it true? Is
The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz really writing the next installment of
X-Men? Well, according to
Black Book Mag, the prolific
Gossip Girl mastermind is indeed writing the script for
X-Men 4.
Apparently, it is a prequel of sorts. About the project, Schwartz stated, "I'm very well aware that I'll be bludgeoned by purists, but I love its mythology, and it comes with a pretty hefty paycheck."
Apparently, Josh wants to utilize some lesser known mutants in this next outing. The main plot will center on a teenage prodigy stationed at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. About this, Schwartz said, "It's not like I'm adding new characters like Toaster Head, or anything like that.
The Incredible Hulk looks like it's going to be terrible. And why does he look like he's fighting against the monster from
Cloverfield? I mean, with
Transformers, it's not like fans were going to come back saying, 'You used the wrong car.' This, however, is a different story. Brett Ratner didn't have a lot of credibility going in to the third
X-Men movie, but I think Bryan Singer [who directed the first two installments] got a free pass on
Superman Returns because of his work on
X-Men."
X-Men 4 does not have a production start date at the moment.

totally what you expect a hollywood personality to say.
sad.
...end of story.
About the project, Holloway stated, "We had a meeting and they wanted me to play Gambit, the card dealer character, they thought I'd be perfect for the part. We'll see. l would love to play a superhero. I'd love to wear a cape and tights."
Okay. I get what you're saying. No need to apologize though, everyone's opinion is respected. I'm kinda ranting too. :-)
But I made a mistake on what I wanted to say. What I really meant to say was, drop X-men 4 or reboot 3. And that's not likely that it's gonna happen. This new writer's just pissing me off because he's ripping a movie before it even came out yet. And claiming The Abomination looks like the cloverfield monster?! Give me a break. That dude's a douche. And saying that he's only doing it for the money? He'll put no heart into it, and all writers need to put heart into their stories, or the story will be crap!!!
P.S. Is the badguy in The Incredible Hulk "The Abomination?" I really didn't read the comics that much so I don't know, but I think it is. Please correct me if I'm wrong, somebody.
