William Shatner to Host the ABC Quiz Show Show Me the Money

Boston Legal star William Shatner is pulling double duty for ABC, signing on to host the net's new quiz show Show Me the Money, according to Variety.

Endemol USA, the company behind Deal or No Deal, is producing Show Me the Money, which could debut as early as next month. Show Me the Money has contestants playing for big bucks by answering trivia questions, with people close to them playing a role in determining just how much money they ultimately walk away with.

"We were looking for a great showman," said Endemol USA president David Goldberg. Shatner's "an instantly recognizable entertainer" with a "naturally warm and witty presence."

Shatner will tape Show Me the Money while continuing his work on ABC's Boston Legal.
