Tyler Mane to Return as Michael Myers in H2

Source:  Rob Zombie
With Rob Zombie now officially coming back to direct H2, the sequel to his well received Halloween reboot, the director now reveals who will be playing Michael Myers in the new film.

"There ain't no new Michael Myers. It's Tyler Mane again f*ckers!" Zombie states on his Myspace blog. "Yes, Tyler has signed back on for Halloween Two."

Rob Zombie's H2 will pick up at the exact moment the first movie stopped and follow the aftermath of Michael Myers murderous rampage through the eyes of heroine Laurie Strode.

I wished instead of making Degeneration into a movie, they would have made it into a side story before the release of Re5. Correct me if i'm wrong, but the PS3 didn't have an RE game for this year, this would have been a perfect fit, like Code Veronica.

That's what I said, Express. I said a movie doesn't get rebooted lightening quick, unless, like "Hulk," it mega bombs.

I don't know, I just didn't care for "28 Days Later." lolz!

28 Days was good until the end...the whole crazy British Army group wanting to repopulate England? Thats a bit much...they could have come up with something better than that, but it was a good film. 28 Weeks was good too, I did actually enjoy it better than Days, but it had it's faults too. Incredible Hulk was a great flick.

hulk? it got rebooted..lol 28 days want that bad, it could have been way better, but weeks is way better in every way.

Also, stop saying reboot it. A series doesn't get a reboot till nearly twenty years after it comes out, unless it mega-bombs like the "Hulk" movie did.

"Resident Evil" has done respectably all around the world, and just because the select movieweb community didn't like it, doesn't mean that the rest of the world follows suit. "Resident Evil" raked in a lot of money, and I guarantee it'll be a long while before someone clamors for a remake.

The new "Degeneration" movie ISN'T going to be like any of the games. It's going to have the characters, but it takes place seven or so years AFTER the other games. I don't know why you think it's going to match the games. Also, "28 Days Later" was terrible, so i refused to watch "28 Weeks Later."

not hating on vamp..lol it just was'nt that great 1 was good with some flaws, 2 was decent. but got boring and 3....ehhhh! 28 weeks later is way better zombie flick. RE is action/horror. but more action that horror.

The rating systems are pretty different from UK to America

R-Rated in UK mean 12A or 15
NC-17 over here equals 18

But Romero's script was pretty hardcore and very based to the game.
Here is the hyperlink to it for anyone wanting to read it

Enjoy

At any rate, you gamers have the upcoming "Resident Evil: Degeneration" movie to look forward to I guess. lolz. I of course, am DYING for that thing to come out!

All directors have thier "down" times. Still...if Romero was involved, we would have seen something different. I'll have to take a peek at the script Mr. Ottley.

Well in my opinion "Resident Evil" is the best series I've ever seen. I respect your guys' opinions though, so I'm not going to preach. If you ask me, though, the games and the movies are on two completely different pedestals. I never really compare a movie to a game when I see it. You're never going to get the same thing as what you got when you played the game. In my opinion, the "Resident Evil" movies have all been doing a fine job, and I look forward to more.

Also, I don't know what you're talking about when you say that they dismissed Romero's script for it having an "R" rating. ALL of the "Resident Evil" movies are rated "R" as is. I mean, I watched a thingummy on my "Resident Evil" DVD that said that Paul W.S. Anderson, and these words were coming straight from his mouth, refused to do the movies if he wasn't going to be allowed an "R" rating.

Anyway, Alice will never be dead to me, she's awesome.

And another thing: With how Romero has been doing lately, I'm GLAD he didn't get involved with the series. lolz!

December 23rd, 2008 12:52pm
But aren't the RE films rated R already. But i wish Romero was involved in this franchise.

Plz people are you guys serious, the RE films sucked compared to the games. The fact how late it took them to bring in the main RE characters sucked and they give us Alice, whpo the F is she?

Plz people read Romero's Resident Evil Script (the original screenwriter of the RE Films and supposed to be original director but it because his version was rated R, it didn;t make it...
The come back and talk RE Movies.

You can find Romero's Resident Evil script on any free online script site

No prob Vamp. But the RE series could have been alot better. In Resident Evil: Apocalypse...when the dead started to rise out of the ground...thats where I dismissed the series entirely. Well...when CGI was used on zombies in the first RE...thats where I was out. The other movies were all seen out of curiosity when they were released on DVD. The series has alot more potential then what it was given.

I wouldn't call it cheesy, but i would rather see someone else take over the lead role. I don't the Alice character can go any further. To tell you the truth, when the first one came out, i was very disappointed that they didn't use a game character, to start out this franchise, but she turned out okay.

Anderson loves doing his video game adaptations. I just hope he doesn't get his hands on God of war and Metal Gear Solid scripts.

The only thing that killed me with Res 1 were the digital zombies. How much more effective is make-up effects compared to the horrible CGI they used? Sometimes...well..almost all the time...I'd love to punch Paul W.S. Anderson in his fucking face.

Why is everyone dissin' on Ashanti? She's a great actress. I was very sad to see her die.

Romero's first dead movie was the classic Night of the Living Dead. His original trilogy is legendary, I think his best work. And I know you hate the remakes Killerman, but 1990's Night of the Living Dead remake was pretty good with Tom Savini directing, more of a slight modernization with a kick ass Barbara. Of course she's another case of Hollywood's attempt at creating another Ellen Ripley...there's only one kick ass female in all of movies and thats her hands down. I liked both 28 Days and 28 Weeks Later. I can't wait for 28 Months Later also. Land of the Dead was...decent, but the atrocity was Diary of the Dead. I mean goddamn...Romero had to have been drunk or absent a majority of the time. Ashanti getting killed made that movie my favorite in the Res series dude.
