Street Fighter Japanese Trailer Is Unleashed

Source:  20th Century Fox
Those awaiting their first glimpse of Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li are in luck. Especially if they speak Japanese. 20th Century Fox has finally released the first trailer to this highly anticipated video game adaptation. But be forewarned: It comes from Japan's official website for the film, so there isn't any English dialogue to be heard. But who cares? You don't need to understand Japanese to understand the language of non-stop action. Click the video below to watch the trailer right now:

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li opens February 27th, 2009.

You're calling me a fag and you say you're the bigger person...

I saw you're comment about respecting Comrade and taking what he says seriously because he's older and a teacher. You were arguing with HIM, and now that you really know what he does you listen to him. So...the only reason you're not taking what I'M saying seriously is because we're the same age? Because Comrade pretty much said what I said, just in a lighter fashion. I bet you're going to agree with him but bash everything I told you even though we're both kind of saying the same thing. I'm respected for my age by adults I know...family, teachers, even people I've just met. I get great grades and the teachers like my blunt attitude...that's why I get chosen for a lot of different things to represent my school. I've still got more to learn, yeah, but that doesn't mean I don't know shit. SO, the next time you're planning on listening/not listening to someone, focus on what they're trying to get through to you, not on how old they are

It isn't fair to express an opinion about the book without reading it. It's called informed statement. I can always understand you saying you're excited about reading something, but to say you're a fan and to not have read it is pretty wrong. Just be more wary of it.

January 3rd, 2009 2:11pm
They you'd be a fag you douche. Cause you still don't seem to get it. But whatever I'll be the bigger person and just end this. I won't argue with a person that has a mind like a little kid. Now I am outta her like a man is supposed to be.

January 3rd, 2009 1:17pm
Ummm...yeah, I can tell you you can't have a proper opinion until you've read the book because the book is what makes Watchmen Watchmen(not a typo). If you haven't read the novel, then you can't have a proper opinion because it's THAT big and important, it's just a fact. You can express an opinion, but it doesn't mean anyone will take it seriously if you've never read it. Now that you're reading the book you can give a proper and intellectual opinion. Facts, man, facts

Sooo...I guess this argument is over because you admitted you were wrong on some levels and I didn't admit to being wrong on anything because I wasn't, so...toodles.

Well I believe JA is saying the truth about my part. nothing more to say.
VIS, you still apperently don't get it for the fact that you are an idiot and you read half the comment and you cut the other half so I wont say anymore crap to you and I wont write my shit for the 15 th time when you easily seem to not get it, for the fact that you are a retard. now I tell you to read the comments again, and if you are still thinking the same crap, don't write it, cause you shouldn't be thinking like that except if you were a fag.

Let me put for you the comments this way (that is kinda what I said in the comments): THIS FIGHT WIL END UP LIKE A TIE BECAUSE BOTH OF US ARE WRONG AT SOME POINT. I"LL SAY THAT I AM WRONG ABOUT SOME OF MY POINTS, BUT YOU (AS IN VIS) IS ALSO WRONG ABOUT ANOTHER. I KNOW IT WAS WRONG TO SAY THAT I AM A FAN OF THE BOOK WITHOUT READING IT, BUT YOU ALSO CAN'T JUST COME UP IN MY FACT AND JUST SAY FOR ME TO NOT EXPRESS MY OPINION JUST FOR THE FACT THAT I DIDN'T READ THE BOOK.
now if you wanna write back, do it, just know that this came up in the way all along and you seem to not notice it.

JA, it was pretty much because of curiosity, that is true.

Right so here is the final conclusion that for some off reason not one of you two can really accept.

Vis, your a fan of the graphic novel, WATCHMEN, before the movie was announced, well actually before it announced it was in production because the movie was actually announced in the early / mid 80s i think 1984 or 1985, when Fox bought the rights.
So basically in brief you were fan of it when the graphic novel came out and you frst read it way long before the movie was announced as being in production by Warner with Synder at the helm.

Now to FOY.
Foy became a fan of the MOVIE and a kind of fan when the film was announced, he probably realised it was based on a graphic novel and was curious to find out more about
'What the heck WATCHMEN was all about?'
So he has evidently purchase the graphic novel, and onward and at some point getting round to reading it.

In brief the announcement of the film, made him into a fan of WATCHMEN out of curiousity , possibly.

Because i was in the same place with him with Twilight, i read the book only once i knew that there was a movie coming out and someone stated that Stephanie Meyers was better than Anne Rice & Laurel K Hamilton, which is a massive exgerration.
Heck before the film was announced i never even knew what Twilight was or who Stephanie Meyers was.

But correct me any where there, if i am inaccurate :)

January 3rd, 2009 6:41am
OR, you can say I am NOW(because you weren't truly a fan before, and you STILL aren't because you haven't finished the novel. When you finish the novel, get back to me) a fan of Watchmen, so I am ANTICIPATING the movie...ya get it?
  (Delete)
January 3rd, 2009 6:39am
I wrote a comment close to what I wrote before because you're still not getting the big picture, dickmeat. You didn't know anything about Watchmen before it was announced there was a movie being made. Yeah, I read it when I knew there was going to be a movie, but I knew stuff about it beforehand because I read Wizard(a comics magazine) and they are always praising it.

"i am a FAN OF THE BOOK FOR SURE. AND A FAN OF THE MOVIE ALSO for the fact that it is related to the book." BUT, you said you were a "fan" of the movie before you read the book, so that just proves you're an idiot. OH, and just say you are ANTICIPATING the movie instead you are a fan of and I MIGHT stop. Do you know proper grammar?
  (Delete)
January 2nd, 2009 6:55pm
I am a fan of the movie, just like I am a fan of the underworld: rise of the lycans movie, which IS not yet released.
you appearently don't get the fact that the movie got me into the novel. and I am a fan of both the movie and the book. now that I am arround half way through the book I am saying that. and you can say that i would probably have called myself hyped about the movie back then when I started the conversation, that was what I meant throughout the fact that I am wrong in someway. but you apperently don't get the fact that YOU also can't RULE my head with shit you're saying about me just because I said a word before it's time.
but now i am a FAN OF THE BOOK FOR SURE. AND A FAN OF THE MOVIE ALSO for the fact that it is related to the book. I already said all that in my last comment but apperently you didn't get it and you came back to me with a comment really close to what you wrote before. now IF YOU DIDN"T UNDERSTAND THIS COMMENT REREAD IT AND UNDERSTAND WHAT I EXACLT MEANT. OK!
crap this thing has gone for sure out of hands.

JA, I did want to read the book when it was announced that they were making a movie out of it, before the hype, before the trailers and deffinitely before the posters. but there was also many other books i wanted to read that came in the way. I thought I'd start with twilight for the movie was coming out, and i had it in my mind. I got to read twilight, new moon, and I got to get to half of eclipse before this argument started, now before this argument in arround 1 week I ordered the watchmen book copy off the internet, and when the argument started the book got to be in my hands, and I was like fuck TWILIGHT, I wanna read this shit so badly. NOT BECAUSE OF THE ARGUMENT LIKE SOME PEOPLE THOUGHT SO.
  (Delete)
January 2nd, 2009 12:45pm
Foy, can i ask one question, and please be completely honest.

Did you know anything about Watchmen before the first trailer was released or even before the film was announced as in production?

I'm just curious, i believe this question solves my opinionated opinion within this whole argumental discussion.

LOL, thanks for the confirmation Vis

Vamp where are we in all this madness, well were neutral, so i guess were go outside to Raccoon City and kick some Zombie Ass, with Rose.

They should make a movieweb game, it could be like resident evil, you know when you go to start the game and that creepy voice goes "RESIDENT EVIL" just picture that saying "MOVIEWEB."
But instead you blast spammers instead of zombie or oooooo Zombie Spammers, that would so be cool on Wii, lol.
  (Delete)
January 2nd, 2009 6:33am
OH, and the way you write directly effects what you write, dipshit, which is why this argument started in the first place. You wrote you ARE a fan of the movie when it hasn't been released yet, but know nothing about the book. The WAY you wrote that was present tense, instead of I WILL be a fan of the movie, so, naturally, WHAT you wrote just turned into a big heaping pile of cow manure
  (Delete)
January 2nd, 2009 6:31am
I meant that you're neutral, J.A.

Vamp, you're not part of the conversation...if you were, I would have included you ;)

FOY, you're still not getting it...you're insulting Watchmen by being a "fan" of it before you read the novel. You're insulting the fact that, yeah, it is a masterpiece, by, like I said, misinterpreting the facts to create your own theory. You're insulting it by thinking it's something you can be a fan of without read the novel...you're still not all the way through. Watchmen, like I've been saying, is bigger than you think. It's an experience that you hadn't experienced when you made a mockery of it by posing to be a "fan of the movie but not knowing much about the book" before the movie's even released. The book IS Watchmen, the movie is just an adaptation

And you think I'm fighting just for the sake of fighting? Like I said in my "3 people" quote, which you obviously didn't take in, I'm arguing for I THINK is important. Watchmen is important to me. I read it nearly two years ago, back when all I knew about the movie was that there going to be one. There were no trailers, no images, just me and the book, and I can't stand the fact that an idiot like you thinks they can "be a fan of the movie but not the book." So what if you're reading it now?! When you made those dumbass remarks, you weren't reading it, you were just another fake. I don't need to admit to being wrong, because I'm not. I NEVER said I was better than you for reading the book, so I don't know where you pulled that one out of. I was simply trying to get it through your thick skull that I am a TRUE fan, unlike you were. You didn't understand the FACT that Watchmen is not something you can dink around with and hope nobody catches you posing. I'm speaking with passion for the novel...that makes me right. That's something you'll never understand. You were speaking for a false interpretation of what Watchmen is

Agent VIS! Where am I in that? I wanna know! lolz.

January 1st, 2009 9:56pm
Agent VIS, Shut the fuck up would be the nicest way to say shut up to a fag like you, I am not reading watchmen because of this argument you little fag, I am reading watchmen because I wanted to before this argument even started, and I planned on reading it all along and i was just waiting for the copy to get to my house because i ordered it online.
by the way, you should change that to: that's all me, A baby, nothing more.
and I am not insulting the subject because your fuckin ass keeps on coming back, that is the only reason I write my comebacks and if you notice the subject could not be insulted you douche. it's a masterpiece. appearently you're insulting it by saying it can be insulted. so shut the fuck up.
For all i know my vocabulary is amazing and all you care about is the way I write not what I write J.A. ottley.writer director.
for that fact i come to be higher than all of you, for the fact that i didn't insult the masterpiece that I got to read and I don't seem to just argue for the fact of arguing like VIS does, you see i actually argued for a fact that had been shown through the conversation, and I know that there was a point where I wrote somethings that are wrong. so I do alopogize for those. but your fatass doesn't seem to understand that you also r wrong, you can't rule me because you read a book i didn't read. SO I am easily winning this cause I am not fighting just for fighting, I am fighting for the fact that I want to get to a place were I know and you know where we got through this.
IF YOU GOT LOST IN IT GO BACK AND READ BEFORE YOU WRITE YOUR NONESENSE, VIS.

Nice remake of the theory :)

Hahahah i got my quote in there "obscure little argument"

Bada Bing Bada Boom

I got one question though, how did i "come down to arguing my own opinion?"
I was just giving my 2 cents on the matter at hand.

Giving your 2 cents (advice) is hardly what i'd define as arguing.
But each person to their own opinion

LOL @ 'That was all me, baby'

Here's something for you to take in:

"In the heat of debate, there are 3 types of people:
1. Those who stand up for what they believe to be important, even if others don't think so(me)
2. Those who misinterpret the facts and create a theory that insults the subject at hand(FOY)
3. Those who will not take either side, even when success comes down to arguing your opinion(J.A.)"

That was all me, baby.

With that said, I'm done arguing the truth, FOY, so go cuddle with your Watchmen copy that you're only just reading cuz of this "obscure little argument."

LOL, will do once i get passed a plot outline.

Here is my theory for this obscure little argument between the lot of you, plz people take it in its quite philsophical

"When opposing any argument or question of truth, there are 3 types people in this world.
1. People that will take in what is being said and create their own theory.
2. People that will strongly oppose to what is being said
3. and last but not least, the kind of people that will say 'I knew It All Along'
Those are the 3 types of people you will find in any argument when we question what is fact and fiction"

LOL, well that my rough theory, its not my own but it comes from a 9/11 documentry called '9/11 in Plane Sight'

Oh and if you lot have to keep insulting each other with f this you lil faggot, your vocabulary is pretty bland.
I recommend dictionairies and theasarus's for your next insults plz

WOOT WOOT, finally people that understand: that is both JA OTTLEY. WRITER DIRECTOR, BD, and ROBO.
But siriously, you seem to fuck youself up alot VIS. now how about you shut the fuck up cause i really don't care about you anymore, I tried to fuckin make you understand but it seems like an idiot like you would never understand, for the fact that you are a Faggot. and you just don't want to understand. I do understand that somethings you said r true. and you must also understand that many of mine are true too (notice I didn't say all). that is why I made the numbered list down there. so YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND, BUT IT SEEMS YOU DON"T. now quit being a faggot and understand, no one won this argument, it was a tie.
YA either accept that or you fuckin go home cause i don't agree that ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE SAYING ARE TRUE. (you can read the list down there and find out what i meant by that).
Now quit bitchin like a little girl.

FOY, you really need to read it. And actually, anyone has the right to tell anyone else to shut the fuck up. As far as I'm concerned, personal insults are free-flowing here, and the victor is the person who clearly comes out on top with verve. What I can't stand is ignorance. A while ago, someone commented that he hoped that the president-elects daughter's would get raped. That is wrong. Telling someone to fuck off because they are ignorant and give the entirety of movie fandom a bad name, is perfectly allowable. I take loads of crap from people too stupid to actually debate a point with me correctly, and I dish it out whether or not the issue is equivocal.

But I think it is only fair to assume that you aren't really a true fan until you have read the book.

Woooooowwww its like fucking World War 3 mixed with a Hitchcock movie.
Santa / Vis & Foy both you man grow up and get over it, the suspense is killing us.

I agree with Santa on seeing Wolverine & Avatar in a thetre, heck i didn't even know 20th Century fox produced James Cameron's Avatar, that surprised me, and they must have great expectations in it considering the budget is 250 - 300 million.
But to note this street fighter and dragonball film i'll be watching online, the previews are very disappointing and really don't look like they are even worth the money.
It's one thing going into see a film that had really good previews and turned out to be shit and there is a bigger difference in seeing a film that had previews that looked like shit and then walking out of the film at its end and it really was shit and you knew that from before you purchased your ticket.
But any way, DBE & Street Fighter are the latter parts of my little theory

Also FOY, you have your reason to protect your opinion and the reason to boycot FOX, but hey whatever tickles your fancy, really we all should be smacking the guy that moved the copyright from one studio to another, i think his name is Lawrence Gordon.

OOOOO Btw, thanks for the update on Rose, Vamp, i never knew about her character, i haven't kept up to date with the new characters, but she sounds pretty cool.
At the moment i'm working on a RYU / KEN plot outline for a script, since there is no Ryu or Ken in the atrocious trailer you see above before your eyes.
But ROSE does seem kind of like a really cool character, i'm gonna research her and find out if there is a way to write her into the script, so far i got Akuma, Ryu, Ken, Bison and Sagat in my character's list

i agree with everything Robo said except that street fighter looks like crap, sorry. and it isn't that Super is pissed off that Foy hasn't read the book, it is that Foy is tryin to sound as though he knows all bout Watchmen when he hasn't. there is a dif and i do agree with Super Santa, but i think both of u r gettin too heated. u should just agree to join forces against Moviemaniack1993, cuz he truly is an uniformed douche-shnozzle

Then you need to go back to elementary school and take English over. You said you ARE a fan of the movie. That means, now hold on to yourself cuz this might come as a shock, that you are currently, as in present tense a fan of the movie, not you WILL be a fan of the movie. The POINT, well once of many, I am trying to get across to you is that you can't be a fan of something you haven't experienced. If you said you WILL be a fan of the movie, that would've made sense cuz the movie-and yes, I'm using "movie" many times too, big deal-hasn't been released yet. Also, I don't want you saying you're a fan of WATCHMEN, cuz that implies you have read the book AND seen the movie, which you haven't done either. If you had ONLY said you are EXCITED about the movie, that would have been find, but you keep acting like you're a fan of EVERYTHING Watchmen. Also, I don't think you understand the scale of how ludicrous you comments are. Watchmen isn't just some story you can watch the movie of be "a fan." You have to read the novel, enjoy it, observe it, THEN you can comment in a sane manner. Watchmen is the most critically acclaimed novel of all time and you haven't even read it, YET here you are, plastering your page with it, clamoring for people to boycott Fox.

1. I am hyped and excited about the movie-THAT'S the only thing you should be saying on the matter because you have only seen trailers and haven't read the book
2. i know alot of stuff about the movie and i have the right to give my own opinions about the movie (NOT THE BOOK)-the MOVIE is an adaptation of the most critically acclaimed graphic novel(or BOOK) of all time. You don't know shit about the book, you don't know shit about the movie besides what you've read and "researched." Guess what prick, there's a hell of a lot more to it than you can "research." I'm right because I've actually read the BOOK.
3. I am going to boycott fox for the reason that i am pissed off at fox-but you're still going to pay for Watchmen which will be distributed by Fox...yeah, that makes sense...
4. I do not know alot of things about the BOOK.-which means you don't know shit about the movie, as I've stated. Book, movie, book, movie...the movie will be a great adaptation, but there's no way it will get all the hidden elements, even if it tries it's hardest. You're not getting it: the BOOK IS WHAT MAKES WATCHMEN, NOT THE MOVIE. THE MOVIE IS JUST AN ADAPTATION. IT ALL STARTED OVER 20 YEARS AGO WITH THE GREATEST GRAPHIC NOVEL EVER, SO DON'T THINK YOU KNOW YOUR SHIT CUZ YOU DON'T. YOU'RE NOT A FAN, YOU'RE JUST HYPED BY THE TRAILERS, AND THAT FINE. BUT DON'T PRETEND TO BE SOMETHING YOU'RE NOT.
5. I have the right to defend watchmen (THE MOVIE)-but you don't have the correct information and experience to defend Watchmen, MOVIE or BOOK.
6. you don't have the right to tell me to shut the fuck up-um, yeah, I do bitch...shut the fuck up. My comments are smarter than yours cuz I know what I'm talking about. Watchmen is an experience, not just a book, and you don't get that.
7. I can give my opinion anytime and I don't give a fuck if you like it or not.-you should, cuz I'm right. Yeah, you give your opinion, doesn't make it the least bit true or intelligent, though

SO...SHUT THE FUCK UP and leave your uninformed comments to yourself...was that too much to read for you? If it is, have fun reading the novel, IF you ever do
