Robin Williams Heads Back to the Stand-Up Stage for HBO

Source:  The Hollywood Reporter
Actor/comedian Robin Williams is returning to the stage for the small screen later this year. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Williams has signed on for the HBO comedy special, Weapons of Self-Destruction, his first stand-up special for the network in seven years.

The special will be taped in Washington D.C. in November during one of the legs of his sold-out nationwide stand-up comedy tour. The special is slated to premiere on the pay-cable network sometime in December.

Williams' tour was postponed in March when the comedian underwent heart surgery.
