X-Men 3: According to Variety, Bryan Singer - the director of both X-Men and X-2: X-Men United - has signed an overall production deal with 20th Century Fox and has recently begun negotiations to launch a third X-Men movie, although any movement towards a third film is in the very early stages.

20th Century Fox would likely have to pay considerably more for a third film, as the cast members only had contracts for the original film and options on one sequel.
