Ray Park in Talks to Join Heroes

Source:  Entertainment Weekly
It seems that one of NBC's hit programs might have a Sith joining the cast. According to Entertainment Weekly, Ray Park is in negotiations to join the cast of Heroes next season.

Park, who starred as Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, is in talks to portray an unknown character who is said to be a central character to the new season's story.

Deanna Bray has also signed on for the new season as an unspecified love interest for one of the main characters.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on these characters and any other Heroes news as soon as we have more information.

I liked the second season. It was more focused than the first. But I think most people would agree that the third season was the low point of the series. Hopefully we'll see an upturn in this upcoming season.

you know what i have to admit i hated heroes when it first came out, and didnt start accepting it for the campy piece of comic book trash that it is until the second season.
its silly and i like it, but i dont think it was ever all that great. its just entertaining, and it has a couple cool characters and it beats the hell out of all the other hackneyed bullshit on tv in its time slot.

i think ray park is great so of course im all for this idea.

Awesome. Could we get our wish and "Heroes" actually returns to it's original level of greatness. Or is this just a bunch of producers throwing money at the problem hoping that smoke and mirrors will trump sound writing and strong characters?
