..Well after I read the graphic novel..I was "NOT" impressed ...but still I will "Check" out the "Movie Event" of the year...(Clears throat saying that!)
But the 1 question on "MY" mind is ....Or maybe everyone's mind...
WHAT IF "WATCHMAN" (2009) IS A FLOP!!! F-L-O-P! WILL 'WATCHMAN" BE JUST ANOTHER Heaven's Gate (1980)!!!??!
im in the navy and they release all the movies a week or more early on base, just saw the watchmen.
huge fan of the comics, but after an hour of this movie...disapointed.
THERE IS NO MONSTER!!
instead they frame dr. manhattan by using a bomb fueled by his power,or the same power as him.
which affected the rest of the story line too much : (
like why he couldnt se the future etc.
malin akerman is in an awesome sex scene though : )
NO MONSTER!

i dont think one thing was actually accurately translated from comic to movie, the wrong point of focus or meaning was transferred each time.
very upset.
and n the end dr. manhattan moves to another galaxy to start life of his own, im semi-religious but i didnt like the about dozen plain in the open comparisons with manhattan and God that wernt in the comic.
