Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Not Be Back for Terminator 4

Source:  The Sun
Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins producer Moritz Borman told Empire Magazine that Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be in the fourth installment of the franchise, according to The Sun. The movie takes place before the famous fighting machine has been built.

"We're keeping the script under very tight security" Borman said, adding "And one of the reasons is that we have a huge twist at the end, which we're being careful not to reveal. Like with the last Terminator -- we kept that under tight wraps so not even the crew got the last six or seven pages. I can tell you this much -- this is the story everybody has been waiting for. Namely, we're in the future. The part of it where Arnold's character has not yet been built but is on the drawing board. And in the next two episodes we'll get to the point where time-travel is more in the foreground. It's the war against the machines, the start of Skynet taking over the world."

Borman hinted that Californian governor Schwarzenegger could be featured in two subsequent movies and commented that He knows the material and is very supportive of what we're doing. There might even be hints of his character in this one."

Borman refused to be drawn on rumors that Christian Bale is set to play John Connor and added "Everyone is assuming there is a John Connor and a Terminator in the script. Connor is in there along with another figure, but who is that figure?"

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins comes to theatres in the summer of 2009.

They need to at least have John Connor. It will stupid without him. He is the one leading the Humans in battle after all. And Make up your mind people is Arnold in it or not. I think Arnold can definitely get himself in shape. i dont see that being a problem. and you cant hate Arnold for doing those films. He wanted to have very rounded career. He wants all types of fans to like him, not just the action fans. thats why he did the other films.

Arnold was talking about that he will return in 2011 to do another Terminator. Is it me or does he think he still looks young. Or maybe someone reminded him that they can fix his face to look younger and to erase fat from his body and to digitise muscles on him. I'm a big Arnold fan, don't get me wrong i'm just upset that all this time while he wanted to do crappy ass movies like, last action hero, Twins, The sixth day, Kindergarden Cop, Joingle all the way etc. He could have done a sequel to Conan as king Conan and more Terminator films, but noooooooo. What the HELLLLLLLLLL was he thinking. Until he saw Jesse Ventura elected for governor, he wanted to go governor, I know he is getting bored but now he wants to wait until he's damn near 65 to play a Terminator again. Come on Arnold seriously then you better get back in shape maaan.

What the hell, not even a cameo by the "Governator?!" He should at least have cameo, if not as Terminator because he hasn't been built yet, then SOMETHING. This movie sounds like it won't even have a Terminator in it.

Well, at least John Connor is still-wait. What? He might not be in it either? Son of a bitch!

It was already pretty well known that Arnold Schwarzenegger would not be appearing in the next installment of the Terminator series, unless the filmmakers managed to get him to pop up in some silly cameo. Now, Empire Magazine has gotten Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins producer Moritz Borman to talk about exactly how, if at all, Schwarzenegger will figure into the new trilogy of films. "It's convenient that he [The Arnold Terminator] hasn't been built at this point of the story, as Arnold has more important things to do right now, but that doesn't mean he might not re-appear later in the trilogy," Borman says. He also claims that Schwarzenegger has been briefed about this project, stating that "He knows the material and is very supportive of what we're doing. There might even be hints of his character in this one."

Aw. Too bad Arnold's not gonna be in it. But a possibility of John Connor not being in it? Dude, if he's not, you're walking on thin ice with all the Terminator fans (like myself). And come on guys, T3 wasn't all that bad. I for one think it was kinda cool. Granted that it isn't the best one so far (cough-T2-cough), it was still pretty awesome. That is, to me anyway. And a girl terminator is cool. Ever heard the phrase, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? Chick terminators are kinda freaky.

man they need to at least have john connor in this. it would really be a waste of time without him. i wasnt a big fan of t3 the whole thing of arnold killing john and so much more. and sorry for this one ladies but a female terminator was a little weird. they better have John COnnor in this one or it will be a waste of time

Terminator 4? I'm game! Bale as John Connor would do fine!? Who is this Marcus figure? Has the movie been green-lit or not? Is it really under pre-production in Hungary as it's being reported all over the net??

Arnold I dont care to much about but John Connor has to have at least a small role in the film, isn't he the leader of the human resistance against the machines.

I think they are really sucking the life out of the 'Terminator' plot.. wasn't the 3rd bad enough to put these guys out of work or do they really think they can salvage it with a 4th? and if they do do they plan to make another? since the future is only beginning will they call the next "The Future Continues"

Some sequels I can see being made for a purpose but I dont see this as being one of them, as for Arnold not being in it, I think Arnold's screen days are done.. he should def be in the production process because he knows more about it than anyone, but nothing more

So anyways "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins" will it suck or not suck with out Arnold Shwarzenegger on board?? Will the film suck or not suck with McG directing? There is differnt things on the net about "T-4"!
Some say John Connor is the main character, others state that John Connor is barely in the movie! Some sources state Vin Diesel may play a terminator!? Some sources state John Connor is not the main character of "T-4"; that character is someone named Marcus?. There's been a lot of conflicting information about Bale's role in Salvation - including reports that he'll be playing the Terminator himself???
