Could a hit Sci Fi Channel series make its way to the big screen? If it's up to the series' new showrunner, it very well could happen. According to
The Hollywood Reporter, Steven Moffat, the new showrunner for
Doctor Who, has said he would like to see a silver-screen version of the series.
"It would be good to see it in the cinema so long as it is great and fantastic," Moffat said. He did add, though, that he didn't want the film to butt heads with the series.
"I'm not against it ... so long as it never gets in the way of the TV show. If it got in the way of the show that would be appalling," Moffat said.
We'll have more on this interesting possible film project as soon as we have more information.
