Michael Keaton Joining The Company

Michael Keaton has signed on to star in the Cold War mini-series The Company for Sony Pictures TV.

The telefilm is based on Robert Littell's Cold War thriller, reports Variety. Already part of the cast are Chris O'Donnell and Alfred Molina; executive producers are Ridley and Tony Scott and John Calley.

In other news, Lifetime has hired Lara Flynn Boyle to star in the original movie, The House Next Door. Also, Sarah Chalke and Jay Harrington have joined the Lifetime television movie, Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy.

The Company will air in 2007 on TNT.
