Could we see the same mutant from the first three films in an upcoming spin-off? At least one actress is up to come back.
IGN UK recently spoke with Anna Paquin, who was promoting her HBO series
True Blood, and the actress revealed she would like to return as the mutant Rogue for
X-Men: First Class.
"Absolutely. Yeah," she told us. "I would hope I could do a little bit more action next time, though. I kind of find it ironic that I did three big action films and did, actually, no action whatsoever. I mean I got some really amazing emotional story moments, but I didn't really get to do the physical stuff."
It was said that the film, which is currently being written by
The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz, would feature younger mutant characters like her Rogue along with Colossus, Angel, Jubilee and Shadowcat.
We'll certainly keep you posted on any developments regarding
X-Men: First Class as soon as we have more information.

In my opinion they should start again with all of it, wait a few more years and come back bigger and better before more rubbish spin offs, probably a bit harsh
i thought it would be about a group of students that went to the school for x-men
Anna's character just didn't come into being in that early stage, though it would be interesting to see since Patrick would have to come back as Xavier once again.
In the current series of films, Xavier died at the end of the film how can they bring Patrick back for that unless it is a clone or better yet have Cable set things right without telling them who or what he is.
This project should be left alone.
WRITER OF THE OC??? come'on this is going to be DAWSONS CREEK meets XMEN!
On a final note, she looks hot in that uniform and she would be the shining star in "X-Men: First Class" if she came back. Also Jubilee deserves her shine after cameos in each of the 3 films. I was also waiting for her transition. Her deleted scene in X2 was sweet! Please, Schwartz, bring these characters back! The young X-kids are now the New X-Men! That would bring the fans of the series back and guarantee this film to not flop!
this has potential but with the O.C. guy writing it might just be love triangles and crap. i want Sentinels as bad guys.
