Earlier today,
Scream 4 writer Kevin Williamson announced on his twitter page that he's "writing. late night".
MTV has caught up with the scriptwriter and confirmed he is completing the script for
Scream 4, and concurrently writing the 5th installment as well. Here is what he had to say:
"The fourth one is an ensemble. It'll take place right now, 10 years later, and it's going to take place in Woodsboro. We'll have our three main characters, and we'll be introducing several more. We'll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new castmembers. That'll take us through the next three."
The three characters that will be returning are Sidney (Neve Campbell), Gale (Courteney Cox) and Dewey (David Arquette), Williamson confirmed, adding, "We'll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new castmembers. That'll take us through the next three."
Scream 4 is expected in theaters in 2011.

She would be perfect in Austin Powers 4. Yes, Myers wants to do another one.
Neve needs to move on from Scream and do some comedies. I would like to see her in an Adam Saddler film or maybe an action, romantic, drama, but needs to stay away from horror.
Neve maybe a fellow Canadian, but I just wish she'll get into better films. Hell, all of them need a good shove.
i'll probably still see it, just not until after it's been out on dvd for a while.
P.S. Someone please help me come up with my own saying so I can stop ripping off Nuff Said from Stan Lee. Its very sad on my part.
