I'm not completely sure he was 10 years old but I'm not lying about the rest, though.

I read the first draft script,of the first X-men movie and it was supposed to be about Scott Summers at first.(Cyclops)

Instead of Rogue, the time she found her power when she kissed that boy in the first film,it was cyclops as a 10 year old in a bathroom with friends and his eyes start to burn and and smoke and BOOM!.

So i'm glad they'll tell us something about Cyclop's past and i hope they don't ruin the comic, while they rock the film.

Ok I jsut watched the 'Legends' clip, and I am wondering if the Weapon X team are out to hunt down some of the X-Men or 'Future' X-Men, and that is why you see Cyclops in the film. This would also explain (at least in this story) why Cyclops hates Wolverine.

Comrade, I am only saying that Marvel (be it Stan Lee or whomeever) should put there foot down on all of these changes. maybe they should get the writer of these great comics to write the scripts. Or at the very least, prrof the scripts before releasing them if that is how the process goes. Maybe if more of these writers actually browse sites like this one here at Movieweb, they may get a feel for what we want.

Sorry for the double post, but I don't think Cyclops and Wolverine will meet. Cyclops will escape, as Wolverine is killing the guards.

I think Cyclops is a Weapon X captive, it would tie into his comic book origin (maybe Mr.Sinister will appear).

As for the school scene, I think Pro.X will save Scott. This would give info. on the formation (Cyclops is the first x-man) of the x-men (Wolverine's future team).

If I was writing, I would end with the beginning of X1- Logan meeting Rogue.

Fixit, that wasn't Marvel's fault, it was FUX's.

Maybe Cyc met Wolverine before the Adamantium bonding process, or maybe he just didn't recognize him...that's bullshit, nobody forgets Wolverine.

But yeah, Cyc is probably just a subplot.

Good point Comrade, and I take it into consideration, yet the scene I was most referring to was the scene in X1 where the Prof and some of the X-Men discuss Logan's skeletal structure after he undergoes the X-ray process. Cyke should have spoke up there, since it was only him, Jean, Storm, and I think Prof in the room. Obviously they could have wiped Cyke's memory as well, but would that make sense? I don't know if the stories match up. Maybe Cyke doesn't meet Logan in XMO:W, like he's just a side story, a sub-plot, if you will. I have the feeling that they just wanted to do Cyke's origin story since they didn't get a chance to show his or Storm's in X1, instead focusing on Rogue.

Still think they should work on an "X-Men Origins: Storm" after they finish "X-Men Origins: Magneto." LOLZ!

I agree Comrade. The first three movies messed everything up. I still enjoyed them, but I hate it when they change shit. Marvel should do their best to keep the origins straight, but even they bend the stories to the breaking point.

Fallen, Monaghan is playing a character by the name of Barnell Bohusk, but Empire reported him as having electrical powers. I have heard no mention of Beak since the announcement last year on movieweb that Barnell Bohusk was in the film, and since that was the name of the Beak character, they assumed those powers would go with him. Who knows, maybe they're just keeping Beak under wraps.

Actually CBF, they never say that Cyclops didn't know Wolverine. The first time they meet in "X-Men", the Professor could have already briefed him on the memory loss and warned him not to say anything. It's a stretch, but it definitely allows for Cyc and Wolverine to meet at some point if it happens that way.

I think Gambit will probably be a huge disappointment, we won't see very much of him and his accent will probably suck. And yes, they're really messing up character history here, and I'm afraid it's just in the interest of cramming as many characters in as they possibly can.

I have known that "a young Cyclops" was gonna be in this, since I always brush up on my fav movies coming out on Wikipedia, (and was that Cyke running from Sabretooth swinging on the rafters in the hallway?) but it's gonna be tough to not introduce him to Logan, cuz in X-Men 1 that's not even the story, Cyke doesn't even know who he is until X-Men. I know they are messing with the book's history by introducing all these characters (Emma Frost later ends up with Cyke after Phoenix's death - but did she look like 12 in the trailer or what?), especially Gambit, who I can't wait to hear his voice and see the role, but will it mess up the storyline of this being a prequel to the X-Men films? That is the question here.

I hope not.
Then again, I know Hollywood.

I was never very familiar with Deadpool, but I've played "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance," and in that one, the way he acts, makes Reynolds the perfect choice in my book.
