PypeBomb is an embarassment to everyone in the state of Texas. He is a legend in his own mind.

of course it's gonna be PG man, what are you thinking?
if they can make a terminator movie rated pg-13 then they can make a live action movie from a cartoon intended for children PG.

I didn't think it could happen... that actually looks somewhat good. It better not be PG, or else it'll suck.

"Technically, we do not exist"

...

Is it just me or was that taken directly from MIB, Hellboy, Get Smart? LOL! Whoever wrote the script should get a medal :P

Well "justice", it's Rise of Cobra. When they do another trailer, I'm sure you'll get a hint to his appearance or maybe even hear his voice speaking to Duke or something. If I were them, I'd make sure he was secretive. The less you show in the trailer, the more suprises you get in the theater. It's a good market strategy, which I'm glad you don't work in that field lol cause wow. Anyway, for example, look at Cloverfield. It's a decent movie. Not bad, not oscar worthy, but fun to watch. That movie had soooooo much hype and the best marketing I've seen and that's why EVERYONE went to see it. See, The Dark Knight also had good marketing, and yes we did see The Joker, but it's kinda hard to keep that a secret anyway lol. Since there were only 3 main characters in that film, Two Face, Joker of course, and Batman. And I say that because those 3 had all the advertisements like the buttons etc. See, GI Joe has A LOT of characters and they obviously want to hold out on us seeing Cobra Commander. Hell, Micheal Bay did the same thing with his Transformers 2 teaser trailer we just watched.

they will most likely show cobra in a trailer because that would be such a bad maketing strategy to show the title charecter until the very end of the movie

think of the toys they need to make for all the little kids that will be in wall mart begging their parents for a snake eyes or cobra action figure

wow , dint really know what to think of the movie but the phottos that i saw here were hopefull but this teaser kick ass , the 10 year old kid in me who used to play with his giJoes daily ever since the age of 6 or seven is fucking screaming with joy , the adult in me is still not sure if hell like the script , will see but i doubt the kid in me will be disapointed

Kirk, the trailer debuted BEFORE the kickoff, so...I guess there's another reason you watched the Superbowl besides that

thought this would be crap, and it may turn out to be,but that looked fuckin cool.

Haha my bad kwisatz didnt mean to come at you like that. Just a friendly arguement. Where you went with the opposite approach, i loved the trailer. ...Yeah is right, it is what we used to do with our action figures. They did ridiculous stuff that cant naturally be done. It takes me back to my childhood days i guess you can say haha

that trailer pretty much sums up what I use to make my GIJOE figures do when I was playing with them, back fliping over explosions and what have you. Still looks like a fun action movie.

Hey man thats cool, I went the opposite way, I digged the poster art and first pics and though the movie might be badass, the trailer however did nothing for me, it looked cheesy, danicng flippy robots. But not everyone has to like everything, I love movies most people hate, and hate most movies the 'mainstream' public opinon enjoy, its all good, Im just not impressed by this trailer.....

First of all, their outfits look a billion times better then the xmen suits. Secondly, Kwisatz, the trailer looked sick. Notice how everyone that before the trailer talked shit and since the trailer are all for it. Obviously the trailer didnt suck if it made basically everyone change their opinion.

February 2nd, 2009 6:18am
I agree that I'm disapointed with the suit's, but besides that, the movie looks great!

February 2nd, 2009 6:06am
...

Eeeh. Still not excited. Looks like they did the "everyone wears the same suit" thing that they did for X-men.

I'll trash talk the film, that trailer looked like crap. the posters are about the only cool thing going for this. that was just plain cheesy.
