If all goes according to plan, a superhero sequel will aim to start shooting in March. spoke with
Spider-Man 4 director Sam Raimi who revealed that filming should start in March 2010. Here's an excerpt from the site's article.
"We're hoping that it's the first week in March," said Raimi.
At the moment, pre-production is in full swing, even as screenwriter Gary Ross ("great director and a very fine writer," said Raimi) continues to work on the script.
"He's working on a draft," he continued. "I just gave him some notes and he's doing a rewrite right now."

As much as I like Jessica Biel she's not that great an actress.
"In early January 2008, production of the JLA film was delayed due to the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike. When asked if the film would still affect the solo Wonder Woman movie in April 2008, Silver said it would not as the Justice League film had been put on indefinite hold. In August 2008, however director George Miller as well as actress Megan Gale confirmed that the film was still on, with a plan to resume filming in 2009. In an article in The Wall Street Journal, Warner Bros. president Jeff Robinov expressed studio interest in the production of a Justice League film, but confirmed that the project that had been in development had been shelved."

Silver doesn't want the Wonder Woman film to be a period piece. By April 2008, Silver hired Jennison and Strickland to write a new SCRIPT set in contemporary times that would not depict Wonder Woman's origin, but explore Paradise Island's history. According to an August 2008 article in The Wall Street Journal, featuring Warner Bros. president Jeff Robinov speaking about their DC property films, a Wonder Woman film is among other superhero films currently in "active development."
My personal choices i'd like to see as Wonder Woman would be Jessica Biel or Kate Beckingsale
Here is the article about Dushaku and Wonder Woman, after it was confirmed that 'the whole Beyonce being Wonder Woman was just a hoax by sme idiot trying to impress his Girlfriend'
Eliza Dushu Wants The Lead In Wonder Woman
Posted October 12th by WorstPreviewsStaff
Eliza Dushku ("Dollhouse") has been desperately seeking a superhero role in a big budget summer film. Her bids to star as the Black Widow in "Iron Man 2" went nowhere with director Jon Favreau eventually hiring Scarlett Johansson without even auditioning Dushku.
So now that Beyonce is no longer up for the "Wonder Woman" lead, Dushku took an opportunity to make it clear that if Warner Bros ever gets the project off the ground, she would love to be considered.
"It wouldn't disturb me if it became a reality," she said of "Wonder Woman." "At this point, it's been so hyped up it that it would be a challenge. But like I said, I'm not one to take the easy road. I like a challenge."
She added that fans always ask her about the film, but she has yet hear anything solid from the studio. "People always talk about Wonder Woman, and as far as I've ever lived or been conscious of, there's been no project to be up for," she said.

Yes, Wonder Woman is A-list. Green Lantern and The Flash are at the top of the B-list roster, regardless if you think they're "cooler" or not. LOL
Mickey Rourke Hates Spider-Man
Actor also reveals prep for Iron Man 2 role.
by Orlando Parfitt, IGN UK
UK, June 8, 2009 - Mickey Rourke may be starring in Iron Man 2, but don't expect him to appear in many more comic book movies.
In an interesting interview with The Guardian, the Wrestler star said he was not a fan of blockbusters: "I'm not gonna rush out and see the next Batman, I'm not big on formula movies. I don't like all that Spider-Man sh*t."
Despite this, he's been taking his role as Tony Stark's Russian nemesis Ivan in the superhero sequel seriously, and told the paper he's planning to do half of his lines in Russian for added authenticity.
Is Wonder Woman A list? Green Lantern and The Flash are cooler than her lol.
"Wonder Woman" somehow lost steam, I mean it was supposed to be in development a few years ago, even more recently I think, with a SCRIPT in development in 2001 by Todd Alcott under Silver Pictures (?). And of course, Warner Bros. would be the banner company like the Supes and Bats films. Then there was Joss Whedon who only managed to write an outline in the number of years he was under the project. But as far as current news, last I heard it was still in development, I mean I'm sure DC would not just throw out their 3rd A-list character from the film dept., and of course WB would want it under their flag. Anyways I'm not too sure DC has a clue what they are doing with live-action films right now.
I personally believe "Wonder Woman" should have been made years ago.
But to take note despite, Rourke looks like Kraven, he also does look like Morbius, in which during that time, Raimi was considering using Morbius.
Just pointing that out, he could have been considered for Morbius and not Kraven.
Also Scarlet Johannasen is already confirmed she is in Avengers, it was announced at Comic-Con.
They are currently trying to find out if Norton is in it as Hulk, which currently he doesn't know, from what i last read.
Also i remember that news about Black Cat, it was before she got confirmed for Black Widow, she released a statement at a PR stating she would love to take on the role as Black Cat, since she never got a reply back Favaeru, asked her to play Black Widow instead in which she accepted.
@ CBF
Also have you heard that Eliza Dushaku, released a PR statement that if Wonder Woman ever got of the ground, she'd love to play Diane
"Iron Man Origins: Black Widow" LOL
I heard that news back when Black Cat was 'speculated' for one of the latest films. I can't remember straight. It was either during development for "3" or more recent, during the earliest news that "Spider-Man 4" was getting made. I think it might have been the latter when there were rumors that the villains would be Carnage, Lizard, and Black Cat. It was definitely when Raimi or Grant 'considered' (favored) Eliza Dushku. Whichever film that was for. Then all of a sudden there were lists all over the web with fans voting for their pick. I don't think she was officially talked to, but Scarlett was eyeing the potential part. I think it's funny she ends up in a 'black cat-suit' anyway. She basically replaced Emily Blunt as Widow.
