Watchmen: The Director's Cut to Hit Theaters July 17

Source:  Variety
According to Variety Warner Bros. has put together a theatrical release schedule for Zack Snyder's director's cut of Watchmen.

The screenings will start July 17 at four theaters in Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and New York.

Snyder spilled the beans about this theatrical release at Warner Bros. during an event to promote the DVD and Blu-ray releases of Watchmen: The Director's Cut and 300: The Complete Experience on July 21.

This new version of Watchmen contains 25 extra minutes of footage.

This theatrical run is going to happen during the San Diego Comic-Con. Snyder is slated to host a "BD Live" screening of Watchmen on July 25. Those who have obtained the Blu-ray version of this movie will be able to utilize the "BD Live" feature and watch the movie and discussion at Comic-Con at the same time.

Meh. The movie was a disappointment.

Cell, shut the fuck up, the book is a masterpiece, it's your fault you waited until it was hyped up to read it, your expectations were skewed.
