"Oooh! A new Hulk trailer! Oh, Edward Norton's in it. Well at least it looks darker than that cartoon Ang Lee made. Hang on, what's that? A Big CGI blob that makes the hulk look less impressive. How boring."

aah no way!! anyway there wouldn't have been a "Begins" if it wasn't for the success of the X-Men movies! i understand that opinions differ, but i find it hard to understand what Begins gave us that X-Men didn't? if anything, X-Men had alot more going on!

i wasnt that crazy about the first xmen flick.
i love bryan singer but that whole movie to me seemed kind of rushed, being as they had so many characters to introduce. i liked the second one better, but am an avid dissenter of brat ratner, i think that guys a fucking hack and he ruined xmen3, in my opinion.

as far as comparing xmen to batman begins though, i dont know. i guess id have to go with batman begins.

we know what to expect from the late sir ledger and C.Bale. we kno Dk will be sweet.

Hulk will blow our expectations right out the window in comparison to its predecessor. im not a hulk fan but this will be great cuz Ed Norton is one of my fav actors. it obviously wont beat out DK in film hiatus and were all totally amped for it a hell of a lot more than hulk. but saying batman begins was better than the first 2 x-men? that seems like an unfair comparison here. they were both good. i personally liked the first xmen better and the 2nd one was ok too. i would prefer to watch begins over united any day of the week

I dont believe the industry people when they say that what the "fanboy", aka us, think about their films matter. If they did, they would show these trailer premieres to us first before anyone else. MTV of all fucking places, what a shit channel. They supposedly respect our opinions and listen to us but seem to pay more attention to the occasional movie goer rather than the true movie fans. Show us first, thats all Im asking. Get our take on it if it really even matters to them. They say it does but they have yet to prove it.

i agree travis, Batman Begins was better. i liked the first two x-men, but i loked Begins alot better and The Dark Knight is going to beat every comic film ever created.

And the dark knight will kick the shit outa all the summer films. In fact, every film this year for that matter.

but what are your thoughts on Batman with X-Men?

and i totally agree with you bout Nolan, he really is on top at the moment!!

March 11th, 2008 12:47pm
you got to consider that the dark knight is a chris nolan joint, and that guy could make an movie about paint drying and it would be awesome.

hulk may be entertaining but comparing it to the dark knight is completely unfair.
