Bloody Disgusting is reporting that New Line is moving ahead with its planned sequel to
Freddy vs. Jason. They have been trying to get a sequel into production for a while, and even tried to throw Ash and Michael Myers into the mix at one point.
MTV, Paramount and New Line Cinema have teamed up to remake
Friday the 13th. It will be hitting theaters on February 13th, 2009. This has reinvigorated New Line to start developing a sequel to
Freddy vs. Jason, entended to ride on the coattails of this latest Voorhees endeavor.
No script is in place, and with the writers' strike currently going on, it may be awhile before
Freddy vs. Jason 2 gets made. You would think that, since New Line also owns the rights to the
Friday franchise, they'd throw Ice Cube in there as well.

I've been hearing about a sequel to this since the last one came out. Has for Ash being in the movie, they made that idea into a comic instead.
1-2 Freddy's coming for you
3-4 Jason's back for more
5-6 Michael adds some kicks
7-8 it's the battle of fate
9-10 The fight starts again
I take pleasure to see those kind of movie being scraped. They become hell funny to see.
