USA Network Moves Forward with White Collar

Source:  Variety
USA Network is moving forward with production on the drama pilot White Collar, after signing on Tim DeKay to co-star alongside previously attached Matthew Bomer.

According to Variety, DeKay (Tell Me You Love Me, Carnivale) will star as an FBI agent who forms a partnership with a con artist played by Matthew Bomer (Chuck, Tru Calling). Jeff Eastin is creator and exec producer of the show from Fox TV Studios.

"Networks have been trying to create the buddy-cop/buddy-action show for years, but I don't think they've been very successful," said Jackie de Crinis, USA's exec VP of original programming. "We're trying to find that lighting in a bottle with this one."
