@ Airfire,

New vision is a BS excuse.

This Myers runs - one of MM signiture aspects is not being a killer who runs but rather stalks with a brisk walk.

Michael Myers does not take killing orders from his mom. Jason Vorhees does that.

The music has the lightbulb warm up sound effect. A signiture of Leatherface and texas chainsaw massacre.

This "vision" of MM has him busting through walls. The most MM is supposed to "bust thru" is a cheap closet grate.

This is not Michael Myers. I don't even remember hearing the breathing from the mask in this new "vision".

If you want to see it through Zombie's vision, you must need glasses.

Now am I right about Laurie in the clown mask, or is that the new Mikey? Cuz he or she seemed way too tall to be young Mikey, and since Daeg Faerch was recast since he was too tall at the time of pre-produciton, then it wouldn't make sense for him to be taller in that sequence, and it didn't look like a flashback of H1, since the actor wasn't Daeg Faerch.

Yeah Sly, it has. We spotted that a little earlier. The change, I mean.

Is it just me, or has this trailer changed slightly since it was originally posted. And Laurie in the clown mask with a knife? WTF?

It seems that Loomis is disgruntled over Michael Myers' death since he can't sell anymore books or continue gold digging, so the Graveyard Keeper (Sid Haig) was probably right in saying he was out for blood money. Plus when Loomis said that famous line about pure evil being behind his eyes, the camera was trained on HIS eyes, not Mikey's.

And the "TCSM" sound effect when Mikey kills the coronor van driver? At least RZ didn't totally axe the music like a previous news story said, but he rather gave it a new tuning, like what was done with the score for the original "Halloween II: The Nightmare Isn't Over" (1981), which was interesting despite being different.

Anjow1060 what are you talking about, this is still Michael Myers and this is still a Halloween movie, just because it's a new vision of the original series does not mean it is a rip off of other iconic horror movies.

COOL, looking forward to it. Shame it is not going to be released Halloween weekend, but at least Trick 'r Treat will be coming out on DVD then.

so let me get this straight.

He took Michael Myers, a horror icon, and made him into another horror icon by the name of Jason Vorhees.

Then, he took Michael Myers theme, by far the creepiest music for a horror movie ever, and started adding in iconic music from another horror icon, leather face (the bulb warming up sound effects.)

What's next? Michael Myers going to transfer his soul into the body of a child's doll?

Epic Fail.

F this movie.

Daeg Faerch's still slated on this site as being young Micahael Myers in the movie despite that he's not. He grew too tall apparently. Wonder why they just didn't get a scale double?

Yeah, I remember that, too, but I don't remember seeing so much of the younger Michael Myers, THAT'S what caught my attention, but it's still awesome, nevertheless.

Vampire2000, you're right. They're are some different scenes. I specifically remember the black nurse turning around and her chest is bleeding, plus a few other things we different. I'm still glad to see this though.
