Michael Uslan, executive producer of
Batman Begins and
The Dark Knight told New Jersey's
Courier-Post that
The Dark Knight sequel is expected to hit theaters in 2011:
Uslan will be onboard as executive producer for the "Dark Knight" sequel, which he estimates will be theaters by 2011. As for the identity of the next round of Batman's supervillains and love interests, Uslan remains tight-lipped. "It's one of those deals where if I told you, I'd have to kill you," he says with a chuckle.
The Dark Knight took home two awards at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday: Heath Ledger won for Best Supporting Actor and
The Dark Knight also won Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture. Although nominated,
The Dark Knight did not take home the the Producer of the Year Award at the Producers Guild of America Awards on Saturday, which went to the equally amazing
Slumdog Millionaire.

COME BACK NOLAN!!!
Chad, I know it probably won't change your opinion of Catwoman, but my idea a while ago, was that she was a burglar, but also a very excelled gymnast with an affinity for cats. So she took her gymnastics into a cat suit, and her burglary to a high, until it started to get out of hand, and Batman notices her. Then bam! We got ourselves Batman's newest, and strangest love interest. If they DO put Catwoman in a movie, I vote Rachel Weisz for the role. I heard a rumor about that that I REALLY liked, so I hope it's true. LOLZ!
That said, I think Vicky Vale should be Batman's love interest in this film.
if Heath Ledger didn't die, he would've been nominated for Worst Supporting Actor by the golden Raspberry awards, just like Danny Devito was for his role as the penguin in Batman Returns. Danny Devito was just as good as heath ledger.
they couldnt have made it come out in the end of 2010?
You could do Harley easier than Catwoman, you could make any story you want and it'd work. People are scared of clowns, not cats lol.
my personal choices r Black Mask, Hush, Riddler or Scarface.
and to add to that idea, Catwoman could make another love triangle and be pretty interesting, Harley doin w/e could the make ppl of Gotham think the Joker is loose, and then Catwoman could be introduced somehow. idk just a thought.
I actually made up a realistic origin for him, that he is a sociopathical and psychopathical actor who gets to in-depth and into character that he becomes his charcters he plays in his films, i did a recreation of the Matt Hagem clayface
Because it was stated that the third Batman film WOULD NOT be ANNOUNCED until Nolan made his decision.
That came from both Warner Bros & DC Presidents.
And well come on they've announced the third film without stating Nolan is returning.
If Nolan doesn't return WE the people who pushed TDK to where it is now won't show the same love for the third and if the higher ups don't get that then they haven't learned shit!
If this news is correct then that means Nolan has given them a no on returning, because Nolan actually controls this franchise not the producers.
Even Alan Horn (WB President) and DC's President stated they are waiting on Nolan to confirm the film and if he is returning.
And this article says nothing of Nolan returning, so i'm assuming he gave them a no and moved on.
He ain't gonna like this...say bye bye Nolans
Scrap Cillain, War-zone.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman stated he has nothing to do with the next Batman movie, so did Depp, although he did state it would be inteteresting to play Riddler.
No Joker...
Bane, definate, but not CGI, the story of Bane being Bruce Wayne's brother could link in here.
But my dream villains are Bane, Hush, Catwoman or Riddler
