According to
The Hollywood Reporter Fox has tapped director Tom Dey to create a big-screen adaptation of
Marmaduke.
The long running comic strip was created by Brad Anderson in 1954. It looks at a funny Great Dane who is owned by the Winslow family.
Fox isn't giving any details as the project was just recently put in development.
The studio and Regency Entertainment recently saw great financial rewards with their Christmas 2008 release of
Marley & Me. That film grossed $166 million worldwide.

When will they finally make a Family Circus movie? God damn it I am tired of not laughing at it on the newspaper, I want to not laugh at it on the big screen
i think you're forgetting about family circus, which is definitely (in my opinion) worse than marmaduke.
