Maybe they're not too old for this s*&t after all...
TrackingB.com, a script-tracking site, has reported that original
Lethal Weapon screenwriter Shane Black has written a script for
Lethal Weapon 5 and is shopping it to producer Joel Silver.
The tracking site noted that the franchise's stars Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are keen on returning to their roles as Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, but no contracts have been signed.
The story reportedly revolves around Riggs, who's ready to retire, but calls on his old partner, Murtaugh, to come out of retirement and solve one last case before retiring together.
We'll have more on this story as soon as more information becomes available.

But anyway I see no point on this. The 4th LW ended in a great way. There's no need for another one. (By the way I'm not saying I wouldn't enjoy more of Riggs and Murtaugh)
my nigga siad arthritis, lol, i was thinkin the same thing
...priceless.
the first lethal weapon was one of the first movies i could be heard touting quotes from as a kid.
plus if the could get joe pesci out of retirement for a few more minutes that would be awesome, i love that guy.
"i havent killed YOU yet"
Anyway Mel is a great director he doesn't need to rekindle his acting career. Danny Glover is still around as well and still acting strong!
This should be interesting, I dont know if it could work, but I would love to see it.
