It couldn't even take an online leak of the film for the summer movie season to get kicked off in a big way.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine lead the way at the box office this weekened with a heroic estimated gross of $87 million. The film scored the highest opening weekend gross of the year, despite an online leak of a workprint version of the film. The film scored a staggering $21,225 per-screen average, from 4,099 theaters.
Another newcomer fared rather well also, with
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past opening in second place with an estimated gross of $15.3 million. Last weekend's box office winner,
Obsessed, dropped to third place with $12.2 million, 57 percent down from last weekend.
Next weekend brings the new J.J. Abrams reboot of
Star Trek to theaters, with an estimated theater count of 3,500, and
Next Day Air opens in about 1,000 theaters as well. How big will
Star Trek open with? Stop by next Sunday to find out!

You got really worked up over that. Methinks I struck a nerve? That's okay, just go buy some little debbies to make it better. And learn to spell.
To Newkill; it sounds extreme, but its a slippery slope.
And another thing, was Ryan Reynolds bad as Deadpool, or was he good, just the character was handled badly?
