Monster's Ball Comes to Blu-ray on November 4th

You can watch Halle Berry's Oscar-winning performance in high definition this November. Monster's Ball will be released on Blu-Ray on November 4. The disc will be priced at $29.95 SRP and will be a longer version of the film that wasn't seen in theaters. The film stars Billy Bob Thornton, Heath Ledger and Halle Berry, in her Oscar-winning role.


Set in the contemporary South, the story centers on three generations of racists and the interracial love story that affects them. Hank (Billy Bob Thornton) and his 20-something son, Sonny (Heath Ledger), work for the local department of corrections, where they are preparing the electric chair for a black inmate (Sean "P. Diddy" Combs). Hank eventually meets the convict's widow, Leticia (Halle Berry), and falls for her. She moves in with Hank only to discover his connection to her husband.
